Place is small which also mean less seating area. And cafe is understaff. I would say great for take away I was there to grab a cuppa and had to wait for the staff to return fr bank. The area is full of uncleared dishes. Not sure how can one person cope since she has to go to bank leaving the shop empty with guest eating and drinking. Coffee is good abliet long waiting time

I really should have know better but I just wanted to give it a try. Prata is super expensive ($8.50 for the set, $5 more than what we usually pay at prata shops) and worst of all, it’s the frozen type, not freshly made. Curry is super diluted and tasteless. Potatoes in the curry aren’t cooked properly - still hard.

3 people in front of me…. Waited 10mins and nobody moved. Soooo busy, 1pm lunch time yet the other guy does some prep work behind and insists still after that 2 more people were standing behind me. OMG. Whyyyyyyyyy Does the boss approve of this kind of work ethics????

Came slightly over 2pm for a late lunch. There were cutlery and tray at every unoccupied table, 1 staff behind the counter and 1 at the table doing paperwork. Waited for the counter for 5mins and the only staff nvr paid me any attention while continuing with washing the kitchen area. Only when I asked her if they sell food, she said "only toast left". Staff behind the counter was ok just unattentive. I ordered toast (no butter only kayak), egg and coffee. My toast came with butter so I brought it back. 5-8mins later my toast seemed correct but darker than earlier and toasted till dry. She might have reused the same bread. Worst toast I've paid for, so dry and light that everything crumbles. Not burnt but not tasty at all. Eggs and coffee were decent. Would not recommend this outlet at all. The dining area is unkempt and food isn't up to the standard of the price. Go to 1 of the coffee shops nearby instead, cheaper and probably has more cleared tables.

Im a regular customer in Heartbeat Bedok outlet or at times Eastpoint. Recently had noticed regards on prices increased for their main food dishes especially the traditional kaya toast bread ala carte which was initially 4 pieces for $2.50 but management had scrapped off this pricing & shockingly replaced it with just minimum ala carte of 2 pieces of $1.80. Being said if a customer who wishes to order the usual 4 pieces or more, it will be ridiculously costing $3.60 than the usual $2.50. Anything else, their staffs are very hardworking & well mannered eventhough most times I noticed there was only 1 staff manning the Heartbeat outlet. (Pity the employee, have to refer this "no staff welfare style culture" company to M.O.M i guessed) 😄😄 Will let known this matter to others too. Dont forget there are other great tasting Hainanese coffee chains i.e Killiney, Yakun or even Toast Box, period

There is only 1 staff in the whole cafe. He needs to do cashier, prepare food for both dine in and takeaway, clean table, etc... Basically one man show so longer waiting time is expected. Food is pretty much the same standard as other branches.

Many variations to choose from. Nice food and cozy atmosphere when visited. Staff was always friendly and polite while the food quality is always consistent.

The fish cake was hard everytime I ordered it on grab for breakfast is it left overnight or what? The least is to cook it properly, everytime I bite its so hard to bite off properly because the fishcake is hard everything is nice just the fishcake the chef in the kitchen doing it please take note....

Third time I am eat here and still there's only one person working. He does the cashier, prepare meals and serve, hence the long waiting time. (I totally understand that) I am only writing this today because the food served is cold. Imagine after waiting for so long, just to eat cold rendang chicken. Price is on the high side but the food and overall experience is really poor. It shouldn't be called Heavenly.
