The tofu was good. The yellow sauce tasted amazing. But the chicken in ayam penyet was so dry without any sauces. The only moisture in it was the chili which is super spicy…

Always love their Ayam penyet but after the renovation, not as nice anymore. The chicken meat is very very dry inside.... the Soto Ayam was okay. Their chilli is nice, very spicy 🔥🔥.

ZERO stars if that's even possible... DO NOT whatever you do order their boneless chicken meal... I paid $1 extra more for FOUR TINY pieces of DRY chicken (coin for scale), much smaller than the meat you'll get from their normal $8.90 portion of Ayam Penyet!! I thought it was a mistake so went to ask the cook... She opened the fridge showed me, a prepacked portion of raw chicken in a plastic bag and said she is supposed to prepare the meal from that package... ARE THEY KIDDING?!?! Did they just remove the bones and CHARGE people for it???? Do NOT eat here unless you like to feel SCAMMED!

Please close down. Rice is mush. Fish bakar has barely any sauce and dry. Another order did not come with the sambal and has very small portion. Stop bleeding money(barely any customers there on a weekend) and close down already so dpenyetz can take over. Worst penyet restaurant ever. Save your time and money, skip this.

Ordered via grab and no chili paste was given. Which is one of the main ingredients in the dish.

Standard drop way to low compared to when Ayam penyet is newly launched. Super disappointing. Can u see how pale the dory is?! Really waste of money, its not cheap mind u! And as usual alot of things in the menu are not available during order.

most of the items we wanted to order were not available. The standard last time was better compared. Disappointing! HOPE NEXT ONE BETTER.

Standards are not the same as the outlet in Batam, not in terms of pricing but the flavour is not there. The sour soup is not sour. The kang Kong is not spicy and tasteless. Disappointing.

The food was fine, nothing amazing. Rice a bit dry beef balls decent. My mom's chicken was a bit burnt. Chili excellent. Brother really liked it. Staff were excellent, very responsive to requests and professional throughout. Atmosphere was very sterile.

Crispy Perfection: The chicken was exceptionally crispy. The outer layer had the ideal crunch, giving way to tender and succulent meat inside. It was clear that the chicken had been expertly, and most importantly, freshly fried to achieve this level of crispiness. Flavorful Spice: The seasoning and spices used in the chicken were well-balanced, providing a harmonious blend of flavors. The spiciness was present but not overpowering, allowing the other flavors to shine through. The combination of herbs and spices added depth to the dish. Accompaniments: The dish was accompanied by a reasonable portion of fragrant rice and sambal chilli. The sambal added a delightful kick to the meal. The fresh cucumber slices on the side provided a refreshing contrast to the spice. Portion Size: The serving size was just nice for an average Asian eater. Presentation: The dish was presented neatly, showcasing the crispy chicken on a bed of rice. The vibrant colors and the overall presentation were visually appealing. Affordability: One of the most commendable aspects was that it offered great value for the price. You get a delicious and substantial meal without breaking the bank. In conclusion, the Chicken Penyet exceeded my expectations. It's a dish that combines texture, flavor, and value, making it a must-try for anyone who enjoys Indonesian cuisine or simply loves a good crispy chicken dish. I would highly recommend it to fellow food lovers.

Bad experience with their service team. My toddler spill the drinks on the table and floor, the service crew just ignore us thou the shop was 50% empty. They were just being blinded that the spillage on the floor. Initially tght some of the crew would help to bring out the mop, NOBODY bothered. Food there also felt normal compared to intiallu when they opened. Bad expereince that i would not even think of having any meals there. If there is no star rating on their service, i would change to 0 star.
