I really enjoyed the food and experience here. The staff were really helpful and told us which items were the most popular. We got 2 pasties from them, the signature chicken curry with egg and the beef rendang. The chicken curry was delicious and had a bit of spice in it but not too much. The beef rendang was amazing, the beef was so tender and soft. You can really taste the coconut milk too. The main dishes were really good too. We got the dry chicken curry and beef rendang. The chicken curry wasn't really that dry as it had some sauce on it but tasted really good. Again the beef rendang was super soft and tender. Would recommend this place!

A small eatery with limited tables. We went there in the late afternoon so it was pretty empty. I have mixed feelings about the food. Had chicken rice nasi lemak and a coconut and pandan drink (see pic) - the nasi lemak was not as authentic as I hoped. The crispy ikan billis (fried small anchovies) and the sambal chilli sauce in the nasi lemak were perfect. But I was disappointed by the lack of coconut milk taste in the rice which is key for nasi lemak. The drink was delicious with a rich flavour - it also has grass jelly and I think sago toppings too. My friend had laksa and she didn't think it was authentic - there wasn't really the taste of shrimp paste. However, the curry puffs were amazing! There were several choices of stuffing. I bought the chicken curry and veggie stuffings and they reminded me of Singapore. I would definitely return to buy the puffs.

Came today and the food was great tasting and great value! The staff were so so nice! We had the chicken mala curry puff, chicken & egg curry puff and nasi lemak (with chicken rendang). We also ordered the fried laksa and pandan coconut drinks (which I forgot to take pictures of, unfortunately)! Food was all very delicious and we will definitely come back! There is seating inside and outside! Would recommend the chicken mala curry puff, fried laksa and nasi lemak the most! The pandan coconut drink is nice but not very sweet, so just be warned in case you have a real sweet tooth like us! Really happy to find this gem!

Visited Old Chang Kee recently. As a Msian, was excited and ordered the Nasi Lemak with option to choose a free side. I went with chicken curry. The lemak which is supposed to be the main focus was not enough served on the plate. That was the reason for me to order Nasi Lemak in the first place, not so bothered about the free side. You may want to think the portion size of the lemak.. it was not enough for the rest of my rice. To my surprise, I was told I would need to pay -extra charge ..(for another tiny portion of lemak). The chicken curry was lacking seasoning -not so great, have had better curry. Disappointment with my dinner :(
