When i moved to Tampines, was happy to see Sankranti here. I tried Veg meals once and Mutton briyani once. The veg meals was ok, but the rice was bit undercooked. The Mutton briyani was pathetic. The Mutton does not seem to be fresh and was very hard. Not cooked well. The briyani rice was ok, nothing great. The worst part was it's $14.5 and for the ambience and quality of meat, it's a very steep price to pay. I might visit them again but definitely not going to order the briyani again.

Tasty and hygienic. Chicken Biryani is awesome 👌. Must try when it's hot and spicy 🔥

Terrible dining place during lunchtime. It is just thin cloth tent which attracts too much heat. Unable to sit inside. They charge food price equivalent to A/C restaurant but provide boiler seat

Loved their Biryanis most times. Not a fine place to dine. Always loved to take away and enjoy the items. Staff are friendly and the place is also accessible from both Interchange and Tampines Hub. Their breakfast items are are also nice.

People in Tampines are had this spot for South India Dum Biryani. Now after all gaining their customer base now they hike the prices and maintain least quality ever. One day its salty One day its smelly If you’re a big fan of leg pieces then this branch of restaurant will get the worst possible portions. Don’t ever try out Mutton, it is one more disaster thing. Instead local hawker food will be more tasty enough. Overall the biryani is pathetic. i’m Living around this area from last 4 years. I assume this credentials are enough to review about this.

We have ordered 2 chicken Briyani & 1 mutton Briyani @ Sankrati Tampines. The food was utterly disgusting (more salty, oily and spicy) and the services was very poor, even the fan was not working, when we ask to switch it on, the food server /person in charge says that it was not working & the surroundings were not maintained cleaned. The person in charge/food server was very rude & even couldn’t answer politely for our complaint and he replied that 50 more people eat the same food before but none of them complained about it. Our family was very disappointed about Sankrati, the food & its service’s ruined our enjoyable moment. I request all not to prefer this restaurant in future. Thank you.

Ordered 2 x Vegetarian Biryani. It was packed with just rice !!!! For freaking $9 a meal, I got rice, one papadam and onions !! Worst place in history of Indian restaurants. Avoid this place.

Make sure that you have ample time on your hands. The staff easily forgets orders and will only cater to people that are in front of them even though they have already charged for previous orders. Going for tea or snacks should be fine i think. I came here as I wanted to try a south indian food in my locality, and seems like I am never going to give this place another try. The quantity of food is good and the taste is good too

Breakfast is good. Ghee Pongal with Vadai is the best combination to try. Be careful when Pigeon around there. Management should look on this issue.

Was supposed to send a group order for 2 customers. When I reached the sankranti, the restaurant both orders were not ready yet. I told the server both order numbers. I waited about 15 min for the first order to be done. So when he passed my one of the orders, I asked him about the other order, he just repeated the order number and went back to preparing the food for other customers at store and did not tell me how long more I had to wait or if he is going to prepare it. After waiting for another 10min I approached the same server again to enquire about the order he just looked at me and turned to his colleague, they mumbled and talked among themselves before making a phone call. When the other server came back to me, he said the customer has cancelled the order as they do not have the item has sold out. I was speechless and disappointed, as I waited like a fool at the restaurant for so long before having the server to tell me the order was cancelled when I could have been out delivering other orders. 1. why did the store not indicate that the item was sold out? 2. why did the server not call the customer or rider to inform about the item sold out? I feel that the restaurant can do better, because I do not want other riders to face the same thing as me today. 1. time wasted 2. no compensation or apology after being made to wait 30min+ for a cancelled order.

Update Mar 2024 - visited here several times but the cost is too high for what we are getting. They are surviving just because there are no better options nearby.

Tried the chicken boneless biryani . Paid 15.5 $ for the biryani really not worth the price . Tastes bland and rice very soggy . Definitely the taste has deteriorated over few months . Won’t recommend .
