Great place to just have a simple quiet chicken rice. Meal at the "hdb void deck" vibes. What's there to not like?

Sometimes out for lunch here. A quiet place , food is nice. If busy be prepared to wait abit. Over all food served here is nice and affordable

Ordered set of Hainanese Chicken Rice with extra rice & chicken. Food was nice, chicken was tender. Ambience at 2.30pm was relax and chill. Good food in the heartbeat. Keep it up New Hawa !! 👍🏻

Charged extra 50cents for Drumstick Chicken Rice but always try to manipulate by giving only the end of the drumstick! They will remove the bone and mix the cut chic pieces with non-drumstick! Pathetic selling!

My go to whenever im here. Sambal beef fried rice with egg. Service is usually pretty fast. But only gripe is that some of the workers have a pretty bad/cant be bothered attitude. Only the one manning the cash register smiles the rest are always either scowling or on their phones. Food wise...standard local fair and chicken rice. Not great but not bad either. And its a halal restaurant. Price is pretty standard too.

50-something lady server was very abrupt in taking orders. Male cashier was about the same, maybe they were having a bad day that day, hahaha! Anyway, fried beef kway teow was delicious with sufficient beef slices but not so much when ordered take-away, so be wary. Ngoh hiang is nothing to shout about. Don't order this. Puncak does a better job. My mom had the beef hor fun with gravy. No complaints from here so I guess it's okay. Anyway, taste is subjective, so, go try it for yourself. Good luck!

This restaurant failed to deliver 1 item ordered through grabfood (GF-517 ordered by my wife Rubaayah on 19 April 4.11 pm - missing item maggie mee goreng) The grab app for missing item didnt work after repeated attempts and grabfood does not entertain email communication. When I tried to call the mobile number for New Hawa Restaurant at Street 44 - no one pick up the call at all. So I ended up not being served by both Grabfood as well as New Hawa Restaurant - we are now helpless - both Grabfood and New Hawa's customer service are very poor.

1 star, because i waited for 50 minute for one sambal fried rice and i ask the lady in her 40s or 50s nicely how long will it take to do my order, and that time only 1 or 2 customer is in the shop and there is no big orders ahead after there i ask her the 3rd time she give me the bad attitude and tell the kitchen i have a bad attitude and more in the end wait more then 1 hours. i also saw lot of lot of delivery rider not happy with the service and the long waiting time they have to wait at lest 1hours 30 mim on non peak hours and no customer around the restaurant.
