Uncle makes the best teh tarik here. Asked for less sweet and it was the perfect amount of sweetness.

One of the best Tea Tarik in Singapore! Located in CBD area and close to raffles place & Chinatown. The uncle who prepare and serve in the cashier is very friendly. I will going back for sure when I travel to SG next time!

Old school teh Tarik where the tea is “pulled” and aerated for extra flavour. Need to be very clear about the amount of sugar you want if you don’t want super sweet drink. Sian. Would go for kopi c kosong instead.

The uncle is really quite rude and cagey about the opening hours. We live in the area and asked so we can plan our mornings and evenings accordingly to get kopi. I asked twice while ordering, the uncle pretended not hear. Thinking maybe he didn't hear me, I asked again when he came over with my food. He literally waved me off to say that he wants to continue chatting with the security guard uncle from next door, and that if I wanted to know I should go to the ordering kiosk (aka the place I previously asked him about opening hours). Guess he doesn't want, or need, my patronage. With this type of lack of service and food options (everything unavailable except for packaged nasi lemak, curry puff, and toast), I'm happy for this to be my last visit. For toast, price is quoted at S$5 for 2 soft boiled eggs, toast, and teh tarik. Note that if you order an ICED teh tarik, he will charge you an extra S$1.60 because it's "a separate item." ETA (and note to management): He came over to my table to should across tables that if I wanted to ask anything, come to the kiosk again. I asked him again what the opening hours were, and he just looked at me and walked away. I don't understand what his issue is... I just want to eat breakfast and have my meds. Why does he want me to go to him and walk away multiple times? For fun? Just to see me limp back and forth?

Not bad drinks store in CBD area. Tried the masala tea iced, can taste the spices but I think would be nicer as a hot drink so it will not get diluted over time.

What we had: 1. Cream Puff (Potato): 7/10 2. Kaya & Margarine Bun: 7/10 3. Nasi Lemak: 6.5/10 4. Iced Almond Kopi: 8/10 5. Iced Kopi Tarik: 8/10 Great coffee, OK food. Overall a nice chill place to have breakfast. Really like the view of Amoy Street we can have while eating.

Uncle here is very nice!!! Teh Tarik is super shiooooook, only downside that this is a CASH ONLY PLACE so carry some loose change with you if you want to have a cuppa here.

Was here on 17 November 2023 after lunch to get a caffeine fix. Had the hot teh c halia kosong (S$2.20) which is expensive at S$2 for hot teh halia and my special request of teh c halia kosong cost an additional S$0.20. Luckily this taste good - not bitter and the balance of ginger with tea and milk is perfect.
