Encik Tan used to serve decent chicken chop curry rice, not sure why so lousy now, the curry is watery and tasteless, the vege super nua and not fresh, fried egg also very cin cai, braised sauce is missing. Mee pok still eatable, else I would have rate 1 star like most of the reviewers. I wonder if only this branch, or all other Encik Tan also drop standard now.

S(528523) Arriving here to collect my free voucher of $10 from our NPHVA/ NTUC union and used part of the voucher to offset this meal of : Chicken Claypot Rice 🍚 @ $5.50 + $2.00 for the Bandung Rose Syrup. Within 15 mins, the buzzer rang for self collection and added their XO spicy chillies 🌶! 😮 😅 With the background still cooking inside the Claypot with the dark soya sauce topping steaming that engulfed the lens … with generous marinated chicken slices / cubes (minus the Chinese sausages) as it’s a Halal cafe. Their consistency of chicken Claypot rice with nice succulent savoury chicken cubes always endearing to dine-in and pairing with chilled Bandung drink 🥤! Come, savoury this recommended Chicken Claypot rice combo for your indulgence; it’s one of our family’s favourite ! 😮 🤩 ⭐️ 👍 TGIF Cheers 🥂

Extremely disappointed by how much the standard has dropped. I have been a regular at this particular outlet for years because it is located near home and today's visit was just one of the worst I had ever had. It was about 10:45am which seemed to be quite early but it definitely wasn't my first time dining at that timing. My partner and I both had the Curry Chicken Cutlet Rice and we both agreed that it tasted rather bland. My partner's iced milo was diluted and if you are wondering how it tasted like, it was like drinking a cup of water mixed with condensed milk. The colour of the milo was there but the taste definitely was not. Prices went up by 50 cents but I no longer think that it is worth paying for a meal that was once one of my go-to places for lunch after school and now, turned into one of the outlets I don't think I will ever step foot into anymore.

Food is so so I don't expect much. Reasonable price. Front crew only know how to shout instead of speaking nicely. How rude. I understand can be peak hours sometimes but please its basic courtesy. The male cashier is the friendliest out of the front crew. Also payment methods quite limited to cash and shopee pay. Since u guys have so many outlets why can't you use paynow????

Friendly staff. Even help me cut noodles for my boy. We order laksa and fish ball noodles. Drinks are separately ordered. One dollar drink for each of us as we had the noodles.

Bland wanton noodles. The only nice option they have is the curry rice imo. Went there in the wee hours and had trouble communicating with the non-local cashier who couldn’t understand English.

Visited few days back, had bad diarrhoea and it's likely food poisoning. Don't recommend here at all. Nea better come check.

Indian male who’s doing the rice section .. don’t be stingy you just a worker not the manager or ceo of it .. give so much veggie but so less rice . The rice was suppose to cover the bottom layer of the take away box not half rice half veggie . Next time must not ask but tell them . If not they just do to their own liking . Ordered chicken cutlet rice . Never going to order there again unless I give them instruction on how my food will be boxed

Standard dropped like crazy... am at a loss for words. Food used to be affordable and decent, now it tastes super bland. Terrible service, got screamed at by the cashier for not being able to hear him because the place was too noisy. Never coming back ever again.

The young man behind counter was curt. I paid cash but he did not punch in my order, gave me a random receipt from a previous order and wrote a queue number at the back. Later i asked for receipt, he register my order. The $9 hokkien mee had 3 generous peawns but the noodle portion was miserly, all broken strands, tasted of salt and more salt. I did not eat it.

Damn rude cashier. I ordered one of their noodles but without fishball. Cashier said he wont give me the food unless I ordered the set meal. I used to request alot of times with no issues.

hi i was at Tamp Hub outlet (850am 17/1/24)..China woman served me at that time and i was shocked for the $0.30 soup for my Fishball Noodle(suppose to be eaten with soup) if i didnt pay for my soup $0.30…then i will eat dry hard noodle🤢

Visit this branch on Jan 2021. I love Encik Tan food, but give two stars for this branch. The food was ok. Price wise, affordable. I don't expect first class service, but one thing put this branch down specially during covid19 pandemic, the queue system to collect the rice/noodle food doesn't use number like fried delight collection. The staffs just shouting2 the food name for cust to collect. They even forget our order, just say because other cust took our food. No apologize, just excuse. What a disaster.

At 2345hrs was buying wanton noodles server was alone clearing dirty plate can drinks used tissue on table... Upon ordering she went to the counter n do the noodle wth the glove she used to clear all the dirts frm the table plates into the rubbish basket. Very unhygienic. Only 1server at night & she needs to do all by herself maybe. Using the blue glove also to touch the cloth to wipe table. N wth the glove she picks all ingredients into the bowl of noodles she serving us . Omg. So dirty
