Decent place selling the same ol’ classic Polar fare — highlights include their Swiss roll, chicken pie, etc. Tried the Otah one and it’s pretty good! Level of service is really nothing to rave about. Sometimes they’re friendly, sometimes not so much.

Always turn off my morning when your staff name Shaun happen to be there. Don’t know why. As if I’m owing him or the company money. Hello. I’m your regular customer. Always patronise this shop everyday. When I asked him that I am a member, seems like not happy and give me discount automatically without asking me my mobile no. Bad attitude. Seems like not interested in serving customer. As if I’m interrupting his work. This shop didn’t even deserve one star rating.

Wanted to buy their assorted snowskin mooncakes and proceeded to check with the staff on the availability of various flavours. The colour chart corresponding to the different flavours wasn't clear to me (some colours were similar) so I sought to seek clarifications with the staff. Overall attitude from the staff was disinterested and unhelpful even though they replied my questions. They had such grouchy and unfriendly-looking faces. Staff got defensive when I voiced my displeasure abt their svc attitude. I ended up walking away in disappointment, w/o buying anything frm the store.

Bought a slice of lychee rose roll cake, it was hard and stale, feedback given to staff, no apology given and was very rude. Will not be patronising Polar again! Disappointed and unacceptable behavior.

This is a scam company! Bought the chicken pie coupons at $1.40 (50%) discount in October 2022, expiring end Dec 2022, tried to redeem the coupons today 26/11/22, but was told they don't make chicken pies anymore, and they don't know when they will resume making. This is totally a scam! Click 5 stars so that this msg will be posted!

Staff don't offer any customer service. The senior staff only interested to tabulate daily sales. Only when a friend from nearby shop or other food outlet calls out..then they entertain. Gives u the impression the food is good so better for u to wait for us to be doing nothing to take Yr orders 😡😡😡

if possible, i would like to give a zero star. such a racist staff you have. I asked my malay workmate to help me purchase puffs at polar . She waiting for 15 mins for the staff to approach when shes directly standing infront and ready to make order. the staff didnt even bother to turn and ask. 5 mins after the incident, i happen to arrive and questioning why hasnt she get anything yet. So when i approach . Wow didnt said anything and immediately, the staff turn and ask me in chinese which one i would like to order. I find this ridiculous .

Seems like quite a few people, including me, have the same issue with the same staff, Shawn. Rude, slamming the tongs and doesn’t wish to speak a word at any point especially during payment. Am I suppose to read his mind? Why are you still retaining him as an employee? If he isn’t happy, he shouldn’t be work, go home and nurse his attitude. Maybe a little hardship on his finances will change his garbage personality.

Used to be good many years back. Now there is hardly any ingredients inside their curry puffs. Might as well just sell empty puffs.

Similar to the previous reviews, i was greeted by a cold stern stare at the counter without any acknowledgement from the Chinese staff on duty. The only time I heard her voice was her reprimand when I asked if there was any discount with the NTUC link card. No apology from her as well when she forgot to pack one of the boxes into the bag. The company should really invest in service training and staff motivation for their staff if Polar wants to sustain in the long-run.
