Taste of the curry gravies were not bad, however wasn’t hot, hence not as good. -Fish curry - tasted like Indian curry -Chicken curry - chicken breast and wing, meat wasn’t tender -Mutton - taste sightly gamey Good thing is the curries were very oily -Lady finger - very normal tasting -Long bean with beancurd - normal -Fried omelette - not bad but probably fried with a lot of oil.. Overall not a place that I would return often

Heard so much good foods at this Nasi Padang at Serangoon Central and this morning purposely came to eat the ‘mee rebus’ and added the squid 🦑 at $8. The rebus gravy was delicious but the yellow noodle was not boiled enough (30% not cooked). The other items looked good though.

We ordered some mutton, batter fried prawns, fried fish, cabbage. I live nearby, many years ago this place used to serve really delicious food. Totally worth waking up and queuing. Over the years it just became more expensive and there was a steady drop in food quality so I stopped. Recently I decide to try it once more and I am aghast to say that the quality has dropped even more. I don't know what is happening to them internally with regards to quality control. Gravy is no longer flavourful and the fried stuff is soggy too. And price are definitely on the high side for a hawker food. I truly wish the owners can return back to their roots and produce that same quality of long because it was so enjoyable. Would be sad to see such delicious cultural food disappear.

My neighbourhood go to place for one of the best mee rebus, mee siam and lontong. My nearest food run whenever I need these malay/perankan food which I have grow up with as breakfast staple. The mee rebus is thick and nutty and is one up notch most kopitam choices. $4 Lontong has generous ammount of vegetables and rice. Gravy is light and fragrant but not diluted at all. Every dish has its unique selling points and it is better than most kopitiam but it is pricy. Would have given 5 stars but dropped 1 due to inconsistent quality and service. Always keep a lookout when lady boss is around to make sure it is of the usual standards.

It has been almost 6 to 7 years. since I last bought from them. Found their standard to have dropped as compared to previously. The standard of the food used to be better. $7 for my meal today
