Food pretty good or would have gotten 1 star. Place is ALWAYS dirty, floor tables etc. Always staff sitting in dining 🍽 room? Which is ok, but why are the on break when tables filthy? Food takes very long to get and they always seem to have troubles with my order? Chicken sandwich combo?? For here, and yet always wrong and in a to go bag?? Always out of hot sauce and charge extra for bbq sauce.... But the chicken sandwich is VERY delicious....

For the past few days I have been visiting most of the restaurants and cafe's near me.One the previous day I have visited one of the Popeyes in the Kitchener area and that was quite impressive not only food but also the ambience. With that same level of expectation I walked in to the Popeyes #11159 , 480 Hespeler Road, Cambridge but then It was a complete hell for me. Me along with friends have walked in the restaurant and managed to order food after waiting for 10 mins even though no one was waiting infront of us. When the lady (I guess she was the manager) who taken our order was a bit rude and managed to mention our time to finish food as we are having the food from the store. After ordering we have waited for 35 minutes to get food and the real bad experience for me and my friends starts from here, We got 5 pc chicken * 3 as we have order and it was all dark meat ( basically full of leg pieces) which is full of oil and its dripping while taking on hand. and then after waiting for another 20 mins we got rest of our order. which was 4 pc tender chicken which smells like yukkk. Tastes like it was all cooked on fish oil and like the tastes like it was weeks old. I'm not joking over here wasting my time and yours over here.I have approached the counter regarding the same and their response to this was not satisfactory. I am still traumatised and will not be returning at all.

Good customer service and decent amount of variety on the menu. I'm still a bit sad that they removed the chicken bowl from their menu. But, sometimes when you're late, they will refuse to serve you food although I understand it's last minute walk in but still. That being said the food was good and the chicken was nice and juicy despite what the other reviews claimed and when we visited the fries were fresh made as were the biscuits. If you are going here I suggest you get a chicken meal as a single sandwich can be costly and won't really fill you up, for sides I'd suggest trying mashed potatoes or rice and beans.

This is the second time I am coming to this location and the chicken is rotten.. once you pull back the skin you can smell how rancid it is, the first time we called the manager told us to bring it back when we did he said it was not rotten when you can clearly smell it and he was rude, this time I’m not even gonna waste my time even calling but I would just like people to know. Spent $10 to have rotten chicken… should have went to kfc 🙄

I recently visited Popeye and I had an excellent experience. The food was delicious, especially the Flounder Fish Sandwich , which was crispy and flavorful. The service was also excellent - our server was very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. I would definitely recommend Popeye to others and I plan on visiting again in the future

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a delectable lunch at Popeyes Louisiana kitchen. I opted for their classic three-piece spicy chicken meal, which came with a generous side of their famous Cajun fries and a buttery biscuit. The service was fast and friendly, making the entire lunch experience enjoyable.

I recently visited Popeye and I had an excellent experience. The food was delicious, especially the Flounder Fish Sandwich , which was crispy and flavorful. I had dinner at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, and it was a delightful experience! The service was friendly and efficient, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. I love popeyes, but I hate coming to this one. Every time it's always a long wait for my food, even if I order ahead. I tried ordering online this time but it forces you to enter a code they send to your email and it doesn't match even when you copy paste it so you can't order online. I went in to order and the cashier kept putting everything in as combos even though I told her it was just the sandwich. I tried to get the strawberry cheesecake pie but was told it was a 15 min wait for them, didn't want to wait that long so declined. I tried to order a popcorn shrimp a la carte (on the website its 3.99), and it kept ringing in as 7.99, so took that off. and when I tried to order the ghost pepper sandwhich she put it in as a spicy chicken instead and tried to no let me order it saying its the spiciest sandwhich they have. I told her I knew what I wanted and put it in as i ordered. Originally wanted the two sandwiches, two pies and popcorn shrimp and walked out with only the two sandwiches. Got home and the ghost pepper sandwich isn't even spicy so I feel like they didn't make it as they should have.

The atmosphere if you dine in is pretty depressing. However, they made quality fried chicken that we love it. A huge plus to their staff that sometimes compensates us with extras whenever the pieces are a bit smaller. Their daily deals aren't a huge deal, but still a little extra saving compared to normal price

As we are in lock down again still allowing takeout and delivery. Great service and nice large pieces of chicken. Only knock was spicy not ready but she gave me some big pieces to make up for it!!!

*another edit as the saga continues with this terrible place* I literally activated a new credit card and used it on the Popeyes app. It has never even left my house. There are now hundreds of fraudulent charges on my card. Thankfully visa is helping to get it back but all Popeyes could say was "we can't see any additional charges on your card" Duh it's my account, obviously you can't see details of my credit card. Their app security is either non existent or someone on the back end is selling people's info. This whole thing is just so crazy. DO NOT USE THE APP!!! *wanted to edit with an update* I returned to the store today because I really believed I deserved some money back. The manager insisted she wasn't the same person as last night (she 100% was.) I started to tell her my story anyhow and she interrupted and said well it was a mobile order, I asked how she knew if she wasn't the one last night and she just stared. She "spoke to the owner" and said they remade my wings and offered me a pop, that's all they could do. I stood my ground, said I really thought I deserved some money back. I was extremely inconvenienced for a potentially really dangerous mistake THEY made. I asked if I could speak to the owner. She gave me some Gmail address. She said she would go talk to him again. 20 minutes later, she never returned and was no where to be found. So I left the store. My toddler was getting impatient. Also note I left a complaint with public health as they seemed to indifferent about the raw chicken. I also just spoke to Popeyes Canada who without question refunded me, apologized and escalated it to the regional representative. It's my wedding anniversary. My husband and I both love wings. I ordered almost $90 in wings. Drove to pick them up (10 minutes from my house) in a snow storm. We arranged for our kids to eat dinner at the neighbours so we would have an hour of quiet dinner time. We sit down, my husband takes a bite. Raw. We check others, all raw. I call the store. "Bring them all back." I tell them to start cooking them I'll be there in 15 to 20 minutes depending on road conditions. I get there. They haven't started cooking them. So I then need to spend the next 20 minutes waiting. I explained it was my anniversary and I was spending my hour of kid free time there. They did remake my order. Thankfully. And they threw in "some extra wings", 2 to be exact. 🤔 And they offered me a free pop. So I drove there and back twice. My husband possibly got food poisoning, and I had to come home and then put my children to bed while the wings got cold. Because kid free time was over. I asked for some money off. They said no, but we can give you a pop. I will not return. So disappointed. Ruined the entirety of dinner.

Restaurant was clean and nice, service was polite and acceptable, but my food was really disappointing. The chicken was fine and my apple pie was actually very good, but the fries were incredibly stale and didn't taste like much of anything.

This place was so slow I ordered first and they just stood around doing nothing. Plus can hardly speak English…. Wasnt gunna leave a review but after waiting 15 min for a sandwich figured I had nothing better to do. If you don’t mind waiting so long for incompetent people to make ur order then don’t bother coming Also a baby is crying and won’t shut up even him doesn’t like the service
