Nice affordable Korean don. Taste good and have variety of choices. We recommend to try the set menu (chicken karaage) We ordered the following - Ji Ji Don (recommended to try, to have all the variety) - Spicy Chicken Don - Spicy Chicken Glass Noodle - Chicken Karaage Seaweed

Nice taste for the teppan chicken, I was fortunate as seems the restaurant was permanently closed during bad covid phase, and now they are open after less covid restriction. Portion a bit small approx 70% from full adult stomach capacity, but for me just nice as I dont like to eat till 100% full.

The place was, as the tagline described it, surprisingly good. I got the Ji Ji Don which was essentially a chicken don with teriyaki, spicy and fried chicken. It was $9.90 and very value for money. The fried chicken was crisp and hot, the chicken was tender. Also the rice was good quality Japanese/Korean pearl rice which was a very good fit for the cuisine. The portion was also very good and topped with an Onsen egg, it was a delightful eating experience. Would definitely recommend coming back again.

I always order the same item regardless of which outlet I go. The kimchi egg is yummy, the beef can be quite inconsistent, usually overcooked instead of medium. However for the price it’s still a decent dish to have. If they can prepare the steak medium, it would be perfect.

Steak don and Fried chicken don. The meat for steak wasn’t ideal, the overall bowl is good. All options have a mix of ingredients to provide some variety, but it’s not super satisfying.

Underrated place. Generally the 3 meals I ordered will fresh and with big portion. Sauce are flavourful. No Q even on a weekend dinner timing. Order at counter and self collect the meal. Self serve drink counter. No frills cafe/restaurant. Recommend to have a quick fix for a decent meal/price

Lousy food, we complain that the food shows on the menu is totally different from the cooked food. One look at the posted picture below tells u how charred the bulgogi beef is cooked. They replaced another one and still looks the same. The chicken noodle bowl is extremely salty and the seaweed taste bad.. Don’t even deserve a 3.8 star as shown in the google review. Will never come again and avoid this restaurant in downtown east!

Ordered a beef bulgogi & karage teppan as well as the promo Takoyaki with drinks. Food is decent, nothing special but perfectly serviceable but portions are lacking. I honestly couldn't tell i was eating beef as it's more minced then bulgogi. The surprisingly good item here was the Takoyaki. It's nice & crispy on the outside while remaining soft & fluffy inside even though it's only filling is the batter. Though given the behaviour of the staff, i wouldn't try it when they're busy. It's pretty much a self service style of eatery, you order at the kiosks in front, then collect your food when it's ready & get your drinks from the dispenser. I wouldn't worry about it being too busy though, 2pm on a Saturday & i was the only customer. Make of that what you will. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're in a rush & just need fuel for your body.

Nice cosy restaurant in the busy area of Downtown East. Food is priced well, affordable meals that actually taste good! :) Go for the sets, it’s more worth it (and also because the portions are not that big). Great flavours, hardworking staff. Only gripe: If you could increase the food portions, it’ll be more filling and I could enjoy eating more of the great food! ^^

Food was reasonably priced and quite nice. However one piece of fried chicken looked uncooked.
