Here's my experience at this restaurant. I went there with about 18 pax to have my daughter's 3 year old birthday lunch. They do not allow private functions on weekday afternoons (understandable), however they agreed to reserve seats for us. First impression: Place is run down and old. They reserved 2 tables near the entrance for us. Aircon was leaking right above one of the table. After pointing it out, the waiter switched off the aircon to stop the leaking. Very bad ambience at this place. Had to inform them to top up the soap at wash basin and waited 5 minutes for them to do it so I can wash my hands. Disposable hand wipes was not topped up. Place was so stuffy and hot that some of us felt giddy. Told the waiter we will order first and then wait for people to come in before serving. They immediately brought out everything and food got cold before some of them ate. They prioritise walk in customers. There is only 1 front line staff literally doing everything and serving lunch hour crowd and us. Take note that I had made the reservation few weeks in advance. However, there is nothing memorable to take back from our daughter's birthday lunch celebration at this place. Food was ok. Nothing fantastic. Not much variety of dishes. Even though I ordered in advance, staff said chicken briyani finished and my guest had to eat what they were left with. We ordered lime juice, coffee, tea & masala tea, all of which was terrible. A total waste of money. Kudos to the waiter for handling almost everything single handedly. He took our orders, served the food, switched off the aircon, topped up the soap, served the drinks, etc. Chef Bala and the other staff wasn't very welcoming at all. Not a greeting, nothing. Like we were there to eat for free. Conclusion: There are many other places with better food, ambience & service elsewhere. Food is not cheap. Don't ever go there to celebrate a special occasion. Because you will be left neglected and disappointed. I have had better experiences celebrating birthdays at coffeeshop seafood stalls.

Delicious South Indian cuisine. Aircond dining environment, soothing music in the background, value for money meals. Definitely will have my lunch more often here. Thumbs up for the staff here.
