Highly recommended vegan restaurant… had the set lunch that came with 8 dishes. Wonderfully prepared, very tasty and had interesting notes to the palate - fresh, crisp, tangy, sweet, sour… and I am sure there was wasabi in the cold noodles!

5 to 10 min walk from Gyeongbokgung Subway Station Exit 2, within walking distance from Gyeongbokgung Palace. Fully vegan and allium-free menu that mainly focuses on temple food. Apart from an a la carte menu, there is a nicely presented lunch/dinner set featuring smaller quantities of various dishes. There are also more elaborate set meals that require reservation and pre-order. Friendly staff! - Dumpling Soup - Lunch/Dinner Premium Set Menu Pumpkin Porridge Salad with Citron Sauce Today's Maji Pancake Stir-fried Burdock and Glass Noodles Sweet and Sour Shiitake Lotus Leaf Steamed Rice Today's Soup Basic Side Dishes Cold Noodles with Pear Sauce Tea

Loved it! Calm atmosphere, super tasty vegan dishes and owner was great (even considered dietary allergies). We can highly recommend!

First time trying Korean food and I believe I chose the right place. Delicious vegan food here.

We had the regular lunch set and finished every single bite. The fresh ingredients and rich flavors are wonderful. The setting and welcome are wonderful. As a non-vegan traveling with vegans, I feel this is the best place for vegans in Seoul to truly experience and enjoy the full range of Korean culinary flavors. We cannot say enough good things.

Wonderful place, delicious meal there is so beautiful to spend my time. Foods are all graceful. And its all vegan! Perfectly FANTASTIC! In Korea, here is your best choice. about 20000won per person.

On our last night in Seoul we had a nice dinner at Maji. I heard about Gocheolpan and I wanted to try and it was worth it: absolutely delicious. Moreover, we were greeted to openly and friendly that we felt welcome in the first place. We also ordered the bibimbap which was delicious, too. I am not a vegan but I assume that even the most passionate meat lovers will have a nice meal with Maji. Looking forward to come back soon.

One of my favourite dining experiences during my trip to South Korea - it was so fun sampling all the dishes and banchan. Lots of contrasting flavours and new tastes and textures.

Do not recommend. Really. Expensive, bad service, no great taste, stressful environment. Service so bad, totally stressed, unfriendly and weird explanation for why only the expensive dishes are available. We couldn't choose any of the dishes that were cheaper but bigger. Service told us we can only choose the menu which costs from 19 000Kwon up to 30 000Kwon. Food was ok but not really good or reasonable to the price. Still hungry after eating. Food took a long time. Also service saying they are full even when there are still empty seats.

Serves alliums free temple vegetarian food. Speaks good English and explained each dish served. A number of set menus need to be pre-ordered. Be there early too as they may run out of food.
