Paid $8.20 for my plate of nasi ayam geprek. Chili was nice and spicy. But chicken was fried in too much batter...some parts can be slightly hard to bite. Indomie was quite salty too. Not super duper nice but can eat la.

tasted ok but not fantastic, considering dat the price was quite ex. salted egg sauce was thick but ain't flavorful enough. chicken was pretty huge and juicy. i like the rice, texture was good. had wanted to try their chili but was unable to convince myself to fork out an extra $1.50 for a small tub.

Discovered this stall when I was in this coffeeshop last month for some Nasi Lemak. 😬 After reading a few online reviews, I’ve decided to come back to this coffeeshop to try their Ayam geprek. The chicken was boneless and the outer layer was damn crispy! They are not stingy with the green chilli, and it goes very well with the Indomie too! 😋 Give it a try if you are here too.

First time trying. Terrible cook on the fish - had to wait for my fish to be freshly cooked but they didn’t even cook it properly. Flour is only slightly browned and still mushy inside. Not worth paying an additional $1 for fish. Unfortunately I took my food away (only less than 3 min walk before I consumed my food so it’s not due to sogginess) so I am not able to ask the counter to recook the fish or refund me due to absolutely poor quality. Overall a bad experience. Based on reviews, the chicken is supposedly good, & the fish should not fall far behind. This is a complete miss and I won’t try this again. Barely ate the fish so I paid $10 for indomie. Place deserves more authentic reviews so they can learn and improve. Disappointment and expensive.

Located in the center of telok ayer street. this place is quite easy to access since it's inside the small hawker nearby the Uptown nasi lemak place. To order, it's either you must text them or order at the counter since it's very slow in cooking the food. I tried nasi ayam geprek sambal matah, I rmb they charged me for the sambal ☹️ , i thought it was free. I paid $8.90 for it and i was disappointed with the portion. So little rice, sambal and chicken mostly full of flours 😞 Personally i don't think it's worth it to buy this, there's more place who gives this price but more worthy portion. scoring time; Scoring time: Food 2/5 Taste 3/5 Price 2/5 Service 2/5 Ambience 3/5 Location 3/5 Overall score of 2.5 out of 5 stars Would i come back? No Would i recommend this place? Pass

Indeed the sambal was spicy and good To pay $9.70 for a Ayam geprek with indo mee was pricey at a coffee shop where you need to “fight” for seats during lunch hour. The chicken was crispy, tender and juicy.

I tried this place because the Nasi Lemak next stall over was already sold out. I was looking at the food coming out and it looked really good just like the photos. But I agree with the comment that the chicken has too much batter and even though it’s really crunchy, it would have been nice to bite into a juicy part is the meat. Good idea with room for improvement. I wouldn’t come back either not unless the reduce the batter on the chicken

Food was good overall, just a lil pricey. The batter was quite crispy, had to chew slowly. Wished the indomie had a bigger portion though.

Nice crispy fried chicken, there are different type of chill you can go with.. I think it is too pricey for additional $1.5 for the indomie.. the coffeeshop is super crowded during lunch hour..

Food is great and cooked freshly, including the fried foods! I tried the indomee (just regular dish but I had craving) and fried tahu. Tahu is marinated and just out of the pan when I received my order, so yummy! Sambal is really spicy although I only got level 10 (lvl 1). Tooo spicy so will try others next time. Price point slightly high for hawker center

Ordered on a delivery app as the Telok Ayer shop was a distance from office but we were craving something spicy. We tried the chicken and fish options with signature sambal and ordered an additional big portion of sambal expecting a delicious meal. What an absolute waste of calories! Chicken was overly battered, fish was drier than the desert. Chilli lacked a fragrance and was overly oily. Extra chilli ordered did not come in the right size. Ordered big but was given small. Have taken up this up with the app as a separate issue. Perhaps in-restaurant offers a better experience but will not be willing to risk another try.

I have ate from this stall a long time ago and it was good. But today I bought Ayam Geprek with rice signature sambal spice level 2 with a fried egg. 1st of all the chicken is terrible, are you giving old chickens? It taste bad and hard. 2nd how can rice go bad? The rice is hard its not cooked properly at all. 3rd sambal is way too oily. Not got at all. 4th egg is fried poorly and its $2. This whole thing cost me $10.50. Day light robbery. I don't mind paying If the food is good or edible. But this is the worst food I have ate. The cashier don't look happy taking the order either. 100% will not go there again and do not recommend anyone to eat there. Definitely will give you tummy ache.
