Waffles are amongst the best around. Unfortunately one of the female (Chinese) crew at the SMU outlet has a poor attitude and is often rude to customers. She seems perpetually angry, even during off-peak hours. Management should look into this.

When told that her long phone conversation (albeit partially work related) had turned the cooked waffles cold, she wordlessly prepared another soggy waffle. Get staff that are able to take criticism and remedy faults properly

I try waffle almond chocolate. It's pretty delicious. The smell makes me want to get more and more. The price is affordable and worth. The restaurant also sell pastries, salads, and sandwiches.

Really delicious and well-priced waffles. Only downside is that there is usually a long wait and the staff aren't very friendly.

Their waffle is really tasty. However, staffs are unreliable (lying I guess!). Sometimes, they say they don’t have it anymore or nobody will make it at all on certain days.

Seldom (almost never) post negative reviews, but here goes. Like what other reviews mentioned, staff attitude is atrocious. Bad-tempered and shouts at customers. Never step foot in this bakery again.

The food and the prices are amazing but the customer service isn't great. When I am looking to buy something and it is unlabelled, I simply and politely ask the staff what it is and they are impatient and unresponsive. Today, I brought a waffle and the staff member put it on the counter in such a careless manner that the waffle slipped off and fell down. It was covered, but the top part was still slightly open and the waffle could have slipped out. I didn't want to make a big deal and ask for another one so I didn't, but the staff member didn't even apologize or even look apologetic and when I was standing there contemplating whether I should ask for a new one she gave me this impatient look, like I wasn't supposed to be there or something. Honestly I've had bad experience with customer service most of the time I've come to triplets and it's unfortunate because the food is great but the terrible service doesn't make me want to come there as often.

Waffles are usually nice. Batter tastes good. Filling, generous. Bought a few times but today, the waffle was over cooked. Kopi and Teh are also good, can ask siew dai which would be just nice. Customer service could be better for a nicer experience. 🚇Bras Basah, City Hall IG @sporkandbeanz

I've been many times here. Cosy outlet with free WiFi and can order waffles via web app. Their waffles are served piping hot and crispy with many variations. Would be 5* if not for some drawbacks: Cannot accept pay wave and web app can't place order for drinks together. Would not comment negatively on the service level as I am aware that service staff are foreign nationals and I have been travelling and staying overseas long enough to understand foreign staff can be a bit loud, weaker English and may be perceived as bad attitude, rude or poor service. The only thing I hope is that staff can be more professional by not bickering or criticising each other for making mistakes in front of customers.

Poor customer service. They served me an overdone burnt waffle that other customers probably refused then showed a bad attitude when I mentioned to them that the waffle is burnt.
