the food is really good and very consistent. Never seen once when they had a down day. Be sure to try their Jerry’s Chicken Popcorn. it’s the perfect version of popcorn chicken with cheese. One thing that is strangely off is their service. the counter staff seem perpetually angry and frustrated. I don’t get it. one star off cos of that. Also, they only accept cash. It’s fun by a bunch of young and obviously savvy folks, but they chose to cheap out on payment options. weird

First time at Fatty Bom Bom Tampines 494. Greeted with a rude cashier. No interest to take order as if we are bothering her. Gave out wrong order and still loudly saying I SAY THIS ONE WHAT! food taste nothing special. regretted wasting my time. no wonder no queue such lousy service.

I'm a regular and the quality is getting worse over the past 6 months. The chicken is burnt (as shown in the pictures), the amount of the fries is less than before while price has increased. And the worst is that they don't listen to the request to not put chilli/seasoning powder on the fries. This is repeated issue. In the past, the queue was long and now there isn't long queue.

It was long queue last round so this time round order through FPanda, have some discount which actually a good deal and just went pick up when is ready. Ordered cajun chicken with pasta, chicken is tender, and one thing I like is sauce was given generously so that the pasta is not dry out. Definitely will come to try others options.

They've lost touch. Been eating at the Toa Payoh outlet since 2018 and they were amazing back then. Crunchy chicken was crispy and orange-y. Fries were coated with generous amount of paprika(?). Jerry fries loaded with cheese. Service was great. Owners themselves were running the stall and food was great. Now, the standard is gone. Crunchy chicken is dark brown, close to black. Fries were no longer the thick ones and instead thin, dry fries with little to no paprika(?). Jerry fries contained very little cheese. Lamb chop was dry and burnt at some sides. Service was terrible. Rude staff. Had to wait at the stall to collect my self-pickup because nobody was even there at the cash register. Then staff came out, rudely asked me to swipe my grab app and then went back to the kitchen to do God knows what. Mind you, the coffeeshop was empty and my order was the only order there. Few weeks back I had the same experience. Thought it was just a one-time thing. Terrible quality. Terrible service. But I guess I was wrong.

After the saga of a minority insulting another minority, I came to try how good the fried bun is. Honestly, not worth getting insulted for. It is not that amazing. However, the Jerry’s Popcorn chicken is good for my standards. Nice golden coat and flavourful. This is probably worth trying. Tried their BBQ chicken and their tender steak. For the price, they are ok. Service wise, the staff are relatively polite probably due to the saga though one of the staff who was preparing food literally watch me stand there for a good 5 mins and not inform the cashier to take my order. But I think they won’t be another Western Co from 2016. 2 stars for the BBQ chicken and steak. 4 stars for Jerry’s popcorn chicken 3 stars for service. Will probably come back again to try their crunchy chicken.

Have to wait awhile as they clear those grab order 1st. The hot plate is hot but the food itself look and taste like microwave food. The food itself isn't fresh and the fries on a hot plate is a bad idea as the fries are char black once put for too long. Once the hot plate cools the food itself is cold. But the portion is quite alot, so is good for big eater.

Standard dropped at lot as compared to last time. Cajun chicken with very dark skin. No more cream pasta if you're looking for it. Fried chicken wing - only skin got marinated taste. Person taking order can be more well trained.

Ordered the tender steak and Cajun chicken chop. Staff was friendly. Both steak and the chicken chop came drenched in brown sauce with sides in a separate container. Their brown sauce was solid but drenching the meat in so much of it causes it to be too overpowering. We were disappointed with the steak as it was tough. Chicken chop was succulent and juicy but there was no taste of any Cajun seasoning, most likely overpowered by the sauce Not a fan of the sides. Sad to say, but its unlikely we would return again as there are many other better options.

Whomever was the one cooking on 25/1/2024 afternoon .. Please keep him employed.. Hadn't had food from this place in a year because the quality was bland back then.. Now it's pretty appetizing . Cajun on fries could be more evenly sprinkled though.

Crispy Chicken Set and Jerry Fries 🍟 absolutely delicious 😋 It's freshly cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned. The staff was really nice and friendly! Nice vibe and plenty of seats in the evening. CDC couchers acceptable too. Nice neighborhood hunt. Will be back!
