While the endless stream of crowd could not offer the pleasant coffee and you experience, the staff make up for it in service. But don't expect the same attention during busy times, as I have sometimes felt lost among the crowd, too. The food is standard, no complaints. The spot remains one of my go tos in this area.

The sandwich is cold inside and the hash brown is not crispy at all. they use a paper cup even though I’m dining in, it is not environmental friendly and I do not enjoy drinking a latte from a paper cup. Came here for a breakfast on a weekday at 8:30am and the air conditioning is completely not working. It is better off to have your breakfast at McDonald’s, Starbucks or toastbox!

Done with reading in a good environment, Eat with delicacy, Tiring day but baristas were still friendly And I love the music background Lastly, beautiful mugs alignments lead you to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

Never expected such a pleasant experience where the staff is attentive to details n with the heart of making sure that customers are happy. Thank you Wei Chin for your patience and kind assistance to help me download apps and helping me throughout my order of cakes n drinks! I will be coming more often if I pass this place. The Yuzu osmanthe cake is awesome!

Went in to finally transfer the point in my card to the app & the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Even though they were busy dealing with orders before us, both the Assitant Manager & PT (Pravin & Dani) were respectful and nice. Used to go every week before covid and the staff were very accommodating (Dani was one of them). After covid, some of the staff changed and I didn't feel the same friendliness as before. But seeing the current staff and having a nice conversation with them, I'll be dropping by a lot more again. :)

The drink and the desserts are nice. I keep ordering Hot Vanilla as I think it's one of my personal favorite. The last star is for the bad staff attitude, I think if the staff was better everything here would change.

Fairly small coffee bean outlet with widely spread tables due to social distancing. But that also mean they couldn’t accommodate a lot of dine in patrons. Saw people mentioning the no laptops no studying policy but I think it’s fair. They presented it on a sticker that is stuck on their tables, it’s not like they were trying to hide it. Tried the Malibu ice blend and standard cafe latte, both small. Good.

I would like to express my disappointment with the recent customer service experience I had. Unfortunately, the service I received did not meet my expectations. I encountered several issues during my interaction with the staff, including instances where the staff, punita, was rude and tried to chase us out even though my drink was still very full. Afterwards, when we stayed beyond the 1 hour time limit, she tried to chase us out again even though we tried to buy another drink. Additionally, she even told us that my friend and i were only entitled to use one small round table provided, and said that we had no rights in combining two tables together!!? I believe that good customer service is essential for any business, and I hope that these issues can be addressed and improved upon in the future.

Went there for coffee and tea and cakes with friends in the afternoon. The food and drink was ok but the seats were more comfortable and more space between tables than FunToast at Tiong Bahru Plaza.

They made a advt outside the shop on 1 for 1 drink, if you download and register the app. After doing it they said it is not valid for this drink. Make fake advt and pull the crowd, you cheaters.

I came around 7pm n it’s not crowded.. have 2 ppl sit at table for 3 person the staff came ask me to sit at table of 2 even though ur coffee shop is not crowded… if it full house can understand but it’s only 10 ppl ask us to move here n thr

The peach drink that I ordered the peach was spoiled. And they were chasing us out when we still had 15 more minutes till dine in ended. Plus when we wanted to stay for long by ordering more food they were like no because you are a student????

Nice place to chill, still have many seats despite it being CNY day 2 and a long queue outside competitor Starbucks. Service was good and patient, quite a stark difference from the reviews of rushed and rude service. I guess the pressure to turnaround the crowd could be different during peak periods? Anyway we had the yuzu and chocolate cakes, both not bad. The American and dark chocolate mocha was ok. Overall ok place lah!

I have no idea why they still serve ice coffee in plastic cups for dine in customers. I hope coffee bean’s management push for stricter rules for their staff to reduce pollution and be environmentally conscious.

Not sure why this outlet is so strict about the dine in time. The cafe is only 1/3 full but the staff is chasing people out at 1h mark. Some people have not even finished their drinks. We can understand if the cafe is full... but this just really doesnt make sense. Will probably find some other cafe to sit at while waiting for my appointments in future

Utter trash customer service. I’ve been studying here since it opened but today was the first time I got chased out by an employee - her name is punitha. Totally would understand if we were hogging tables and did not buy a beverage. Me and my friend were chased out not once but twice. The first time, her tone was extremely condescending and it felt like she was scolding her child. When we tried to explain that the cafe was less than half full, she interrupted us a few times and this made it extremely difficult for us to get our point across. The second time she tried to chase us out was extremely sarcastic and encouraged me to take it up with management. She even bent down and leaned forward so that her name tag was at eye level and closer to our face. How understanding of her. Hopefully, she can exhibit the same level of understanding to customers and to adjust her tone when speaking to them.

Had a really upsetting & unpleasant interaction with the staff on duty, Punitha (she mentioned that it would be okay to mention her name). When the dining limit was up, she came over to chase my friend and I away for two times. The first time when she came over, I completely understand she’s just following company protocol & rules. However, the tone which she delivered the message was rather rude and condescending, and lowkey sarcastic. She tried to chase us away when our drinks were still more than half full. Again, I understand they’re just trynna do business, but honestly, if the place was full and I was disrupting their customer flow and turnover, I would have got up and left immediately. However, the place was barely even half full and it just boggles my mind when I was told to leave because I was supposedly disrupting business. Honestly, what made me upset wasn’t the fact that we were told to leave but rather, the tone at which it was delivered, it wasn’t like I was being a cheapskate and ordering a $5 drink and trying to stay there for 10 hours…….my friend and I both got a drink each so I think…..it was just rather unpleasant to be told off and chased. It could’ve been delivered in a more pleasant tone. I’ve been studying at this outlet for very long, it’s my go-to place to study and it’s literally the first time I’ve been treated this way, and frankly, I’m utterly disappointed with the rude customer service. It was totally uncalled for…...
