I am a regular customer at Bedok Mall's Wok Hey. Here's one observation: How your food (esp. fried rice) turns out will depend on the cook frying it. Essentially, with the lack of knowledge of their names, the following is the comparison of the output standards by the tall slim cook versus a relatively shorter plump cook. Only once I was fortunate when the tall slim cook fried the rice, because he really did so with good effort and standard. But for my subsequent orders, I have observed that the relatively shorter plump cook would just simply mix the rice and prawns with eggs. Yes, literally "mixed" them together and fry it with little effort, behaving like he is not bothered to fry the rice, unlike the other male cook or the young lady (who does a pretty decent job actually). This cook is just plain lazy!!! As a result, I had to fry the rice again at home. So here's my advice to any potential customers, if u intend to order any food from Bedok Mall's Wok Hey, make sure the relatively shorter plump lazy cook is not there. He is the reason that shaved 3 stars from a perfect rating. PS: I have already shared this feedback to the young lady manning the stall, she should be fully aware of which cook I was referring to. Food is nice, usually order the fried rice & ramen. Take away only & waiting tme can be quite long at times.

Taste: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Choices: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ordered this via Grab platform & it arrived super hot & delicious. The Chinese Sausage which was sliced perfectly added an elevation in taste! Worth the Money!!!

Service can be improved. The one taking order suggested us to use the QR code to order when he can just take the order for us since not peak hour...🤔

Too bad I didn’t capture photo of the fried rice. It’s ordered by grab food, I ordered Shanghai prawn rice with added baby spinach. It’s still hot when it arrived and taste so good, especially when added with the putien chilli bought the other day.

The stall located at Bedok Mall (nearest train station: Bedok MRT Station). Wok Hey serves up hearty stir-fried fares to satisfy all your cravings. MUST TRY: Shanghai Fried Rice, Fresh Ramen with Braised Beef and Sous Vide Egg, Fresh Udon with Seasoned Prawn, Black Pepper Fried Rice. Expect to wait for the food during lunch and dinner peak timings. Diners will be issued a number, and will have to wait for their turn.
