We only visit Swensen’s to relive childhood memories. And obviously we had bad palates when we were kids. Grilled chicken was dry and had freezer burn, sauce was overly sweet. Baked rice was as usual under seasoned rice with overly seasoned topping. Service though was atrocious from the Malay female manager. Grumpy even behind the mask and was loudly complaining about customers walking in even at 1145am. In a covid crisis like this, most restaurants will be happy for more customers. Obviously she doesn’t appreciate the revenue every extra person brings to the business. Food service extremely slow in a non busy restaurant with only 12 diners. We waited 25 minutes for 2 scoops of pre-ordered ice cream. Won’t recommend to anyone who needs good food and service. Maybe just for ice cream if you MUST have Swensen’s ice cream 😂😂😂

I always like the crayfish pasta and gold rush (chocolate and toffee sundae) in Swensens. The gravy for the pasta and crayfish is very tasty. I love the fried fish pieces too. The quality and taste of the sundae have improved. The toffee flavour is richer and thicker. Will visit again. 😋

The restaurant has nice ambiance with an American diner theme. The food is alright but you probably want to come here for the ice-cream. The Sticky Chewy chocolate ice-cream is my all-time favourite. It is worth every sinful bite. (Forgot to take a picture of the ice-cream to include in the review. Ate it all up before realising it! 😋)

Nice and helpful staff. But food is cold. The medium rare steak I ordered also cold. Children screaming a lot doesn't allow for a quiet, relaxing meal too.

Always come here on rare occasions for fish & chips although the taste is mediocre these days for some reason but service here, especially from the lady manager & the “man in white shirt,” is exceptionally excellent. Other crew personnel need to follow their good example. ありがとうございます( ◠‿◠ )

Unpleasant dining experience on a Saturday evening. Was greeted by a Malay male employee. Ask for pain water. However, waited till our first order came & with reminder before receiving it. Understandable since they seems to have a shortage of manpower. Ordered a sirloin steak medium. Flavour wise 3/5, could season more however, it was extremely tough to cut as though it was a well done steak. As for the seasonal vegetable, the corn which was being served tasted bland. Followingly, after finishing our meal (with my family) and waiting for our dessert, the Malay male employee just casually walk to our table and took our plates without bothering asking. Considering the fact that I'm in a restaurant, paid for the service charge & respecting the customer, shouldn't the waiter ask politely first? Overall, food wise, after tasting my family members food, I will rate 7/10. As for the service, 2/10. Compared to other swensens outlet, this is by far the worst service I ever had... Extremely disappointing. Not bias sided but I will definitely not come to this outlet again. However, the particular waiter do need to improve his serving attitude & as for the food wise could be improved.

Best of the best. Tried vegetarian options (meat-free pasta & impossible burger). The impossible burger was nice as usual with reasonable & balance portion of fries and veg. The mock meat was great, inside the dish contains mushrooms with tomato sauce. It was a perfect combination with orange juice and chocolate ice cream! The staff were efficient, diligent & attentive. Serving of the food is fast. Overall pleasant experience.

Their classic menu with photos displayed by the entrance looks promising so I tried. It was a busy lunch time but staff were accommodating and find me a table. I ordered the chicken curry and I must say it was tasty and flavour bomb. You browse menu and order by a tablet.

I came to dine here on a late Sunday afternoon where lunch crowd had already gone. This was Bugis outlet. I was disappointed with a few things. I’d ordered the Rendang Impossible burger after seeing the menu and anticipating to see the rendang sauce over the plant based patty. However I was served with a small dry burger much like the size of Mos burger’s hamburger with no visibility of any sauce. I opened up the patty to find the hidden sauce which looked like a thin layer of sauce covering 70% of my patty. It was far from what I had expected when they named this rendang burger. I then asked the server about it and to get me more sauce. He came back with a sauce bowl with rendang sauce at a depth of about 2mm. I shook my head in disbelief but decided to let it go. Unfortunately another poor experience was also caused by the cheese platter the burger dish was served on. While I know that it’s trendy to serve it like this, it was actually very impractical. See photos. The coleslaw dripped all over. The knife I used to cut my burger messed up the paper it came with. What was annoying mostly was the fries that kept falling off my plate and onto my new pants. The fries was like a game of Jenga and I was clearly losing. My husband had the Philly cheese steak which came on a plate and coleslaw nicely contained in a bowl. I’d much preferred that. I had previously had better dining experience at Earles Swensen’s so this was quite a disappointment Especially the rendang burger. The impossible patty was also very mushy and wasn’t memorable at all. The Philly cheesesteak was surprisingly not bad though it didn’t look very authentic. I hope Swensen can improve on these pointers.

We had a late lunch on Sunday afternoon about 2pm. We ordered these food on the photos as well as Minute Maid. The food was good. However the drinks were diluted as there were too many ice cubes. This is a restaurant and we are paying 8% GST and 10% service charge. Please do not shortchanged your customers. Last but not least, the ambience is very noisy as there were two groups of teenagers who were talking loudly. I won’t recommend this place for meeting your clients.
