This "hybrid" cafe serves HK style dishes as well as local fare. They have a small selection of dim sum (I like their siew mai), small selection of "Nasi Lemak", small selection of local tze char dishes...you get the drift. When put together, however, it becomes quite a smorgasbord of choices. The Nissin Soup Noodle is one of their more popular choices. It's like a more glamorous Maggie Mee, with 'liao' inside. The soup is tasty and overall it's yummy. And who doesn't love the oversized soup spoon that it's served in? The Nasi Lemak - hmm. The Nasi is not Lemak, and the Acar serving is quite pitiful (nowhere near as shown in the menu picture). However, the fried chicken was great, and the prawns were fresh. And the sambal, while not the best I've had, was good enough. The star of this cafe, to me, is it's ambience. Tucked away at the corner of the mall, it's 2 storey ceiling with glass windows one one side makes for a cosy and warm casual dining experience. Worth a visit. Or two.

Simple food at coffee house prices. Ordered ayam penyet (good), wanton noodles (ok) and oyster on crispy omelette (ok). Friendly staff. The omelette took a bit longer to be served than expected. By then we were more than half way through the other dishes. Overall ok+.

Ridiculously Over-priced, below-mediocre (if there’s such a word) food. (How's $4.50 for a glass of 'peach ice tea' sound to you? The same type you get for $1.65 1.5L bottle) Too much salt, too much artificial flavorings, overly diluted soup/broth - characteristics and hallmarks of an establishment that stinges on quality ingredients. Pathetic serving sizes, low standards of food. There is absolutely nothing ‘Hong Kong’ about this ‘HK cafe’. Very misleading One of the worst dining experiences, ever. Left feeling duped and scammed. Seriously, if you're reading this, pls just stay away from this eatery. Many other (much) better choices out there.
