This place is simply overpriced. The food was actually decent and quite interesting (first time trying Korean stew). The soup was thick and the flavour was strong enough. But when it comes to the price, this place is quite disappointing. One stew for 2 people without any additional can easily cost 40SGD. The cheese fried rice is too expensive for 8+SGD with only rice, corn, and seaweed. The atmosphere is definitely okay, nothing special. And the staff is okay, just feel understaffed We ordered - Basic Stew for 2 (Beef bulgogi and chicken sausage) - Ramen noodle - Fried Rice with Cheese (add on, they'll put it in the same pot, so you need to finish the stew first)

Worst Korean Food Experience, doesn’t worth the price, no wonder why the restaurant is empty during lunch time on a weekday. There is only 4 tteokbokki and 4 thin slice of fish cake found in the so called Tteokbokki strew ($13.9), and it is a must to add on at least one type of noodles ($3), saying it is a minimum requirement by the staff, you cannot change it to fried rice, as fried rice is an “extra add on”. Taste is worse than average, hawker centre ones are a lot better

Really like the concept of the stew being turn to fried rice after all the items in the stew and eaten up. The fried rice taste like kimchi fried rice with options to put cheese. For the stew you can but a lot of items like dumpling, eggs, cheese, beef, noodles, fish cake and many more. You can get your teokbokki fix here. There is assortment of side dish but no desert except for the fish ice cream. This place is halal.

✅️ Expensive ✅️ Halal-friendly ✅️ Charge by per pax ✅️ Minimum 2 to dine-in ✅️ Thick broth and jelak ✅️ NETS or cash only ✅️ Earn NTUC Link Plus! points ✅️ Charged 20 cents per wet wipe ❌️ No side dishes provided ❌️ Not clear what is in the army stew ❌️ No free-flow water or tea ❌️ No non-stick pan ❌️ Lacking basic ingredients (such as kimchi, tofu, and luncheon meat) ❌️ No credit or debit card payment ❌️ No FavePay or GrabPay payment ------- This place is halal-friendly and allows you to earn NTUC Link Plus! Rewards. However, when you sit down and study the menu, it is quite ridiculous. Everyone at the table has to order something from the Tteokbokki section as they go by per head. Cheese, mushrooms and sausage are placed in the same category alongside beef and they all cost the same ($13.90 as of July 2022) which doesn't make sense. Everything else is considered add-ons: noodles, eggs, luncheon meat, etc. The entire menu is an order sheet. They tried to go digital with the QR code, but the online menu still does not explain what goes into the army stew and you may end up ordering extra from the add-ons. There were no side dishes provided like in other Korean places or free-flow water or tea. When the food came, it was underwhelming. For the price we paid (About $36 for two-person), the food was not enough for two considering there were no side dishes and the lack of basic army stew ingredients such as tofu, luncheon meat and kimchi. Everything was already cooked, only the noodles were harder when the server landed the pan. Other than the noodles being cooked longer, there was no need for the heating element. You have to keep stirring because the ingredients get stuck at the bottom of the pan easily as it is not a non-stick pan. They only accept NETS and cash, server did not ask if we used the wet wipes or not and yet charged us for it. Probably going to be the last time I step foot in this restaurant.

food was overpriced and mediocre. ridiculous to charge 13.90 for 1 serving of tteokbokki and its a must to order the no. of servings based on number of pax. the 3 servings of tteokbokki we had to order looked like 1 serving. i think its crazy to charge $3 for ONE pack of instant ramen. in the end, we couldn't even finish the ramen because we had to buy 3 servings. could have saved some food and money, but we weren't allowed to apparently, since it was a must to order 3 servings for 3 people. the service was average, and we were charged 90 cents for 3 packs of wet wipes that we didnt asked for in the first place. we were just simply charged without knowing the price of it. The menu was also confusing as there arent any QR codes to access the menu or hardcopy provided. just a small clipboard with a list of ingredients. would not consider coming back again.
