Was walking pass for supper... Saw this stall open.. Their serving are huge... Rice is like.. triple of what I had outside.... Their mutton also. At first I thought kana chop carrot head... But it came out to just $7.50. The mutton also at least double of what I had outside. Chicken is $5. Which I think.. also OK. Food also not bad.. Definitely 1' of the better Indian nasi kandar I had in Singapore. Definitely a must try.

Looking for the best fish head curry in Singapore, look no further. This is the best I have tried so far. The price is affordable, too.

Dont repeat my mistake. Dont take the sea food. But the lamb shank is damn nice. Is actually 2 plate of rice. I have the squid ink and my friend got the fried chicken. All total 26 dollar plus minus with the shanks and drinks. Come here and order the lamb shanks bro. Will not disappoint.

Best Nasi Kandar in SG. I was recommended by a Malaysian friend since last year, but only today had the opportunity to makan with wife at IMAM BANANA LEAF. Very confuse what to choose the as there were many favourites from chicken, fish, mutton, prawn, squid. My advice, whatever dishes you choose must ask for lots of mix gravy....so shiok!

I came here because on some advice that I can get nasi kandar here. This is more Indian food so some expectation management is required For Indian food, this place definitely hits the mark. I ordered a nasi briyani with dry mutton, mutton stomach, and vege. The curries were packed with flavour. Nothing I took felt watery or underwhelming. The briyani is the type that you can eat on its own as it’s already flavourful. Also ordered one roti bomb. The dough was decent. However the preparation could have been better. A good roti is evenly flattened but this one had regions where it was thicker, hence a bit chewy. There was a decent amount of people visiting the place to take away. Will come back to try other stuff.

They are always full house at lunch, dinner timing. It was very crowded after 12 am as well. Which mean, they have really nice food. The 2 items that I always go for are their : white rice with mutton cubes/curry or fried chicken. Another item in the list will be their prata is really really good. It's hard to get seat at their peak hours, and service will be slow, which is expected. Over all, a place with nice Indian food 😋

Walked pass the eatery at evening time and saw hocks of inviting lamb shanks chillaxing in a curry bath. Had to go in to try! Each lamb shank cost $12. I ordered one with biryani, with an added portion of squid ink calamari (+$4). The overall verdict is good, with the lamb shank tender enough for the meat and tendon to come off the bone with a bit of teasing. The squid ink calamari was great! I recall hearing the cashier guy telling his colleague behind the food counter to "add more, add more". My only lament was that the portion was too large, and I could not finish half the biryani rice and salad. The meal cost me $19. I think it's worth it. Just come with a friend if you don't want to overeat.

Wide variety of gravy dishes to choose from, too many to mention. Staff wrote the dishes name on the glass showcase. I will always settle for the squid, its big n soft and one vegetables dish and of course papadom! Their teh tarik is really syiok, always ordered a second cup. They even have a small musollah room for the muslim. Park yor car at the nearby hdb multistorey carpark. Nearest MRT Station:- Kallang, only 5mins walk to the restaurant.

This Indian Muslim restaurant has been around for ages. It's located very near a popular prawn noodle shop at the start of Geylang road. Access by MRT is super convenient and you can see the Kallang MRT from where we were seated. Food is the typical Indian Muslim kind. We ordered fish head curry, prawns, curry squid and some vegetables. We also ordered the customary teh tarik and teh halia, both kurang Manis of course. For those who don't speak Malay, teh tarik is basically tea, which they pour from a metal container into a cup a few, until the tea becomes frothy. Teh halia is just milk tea with ginger powder in it. And kurang Manis means less sugar, basically siu dai in chinese. Most the time, I believe it's just people trying to con themselves into believing that they're consuming less sugar. But imagine if you have 5 cups of less sugar tea, that's equivalent to 2.5 cups full sugar. Anyways... 😂. The curry fish head was decent. It came out bubbling and boiling hot. The prawn was okay, but the squid was soft, mushy and just didn't seem fresh. It also lacked the flavour that comes with a well made squid curry dish. Avoid this. Service was overall fast and efficient. Based on the items we ordered, price was on the high side, but you'd expect to pay this kind of prices for fish, squid and prawns. Wouldn't mind so much if the food lived up to expectations. Overall, just okay food.

We're pretty much late in familiarising with this gem called Imam. The food spread is expansive and good with authentic nasi kandar style offerings for that umami high of flooding your plateful of dishes with aromatic curry and it is reasonably priced. As it is more of a no frills fast grab or order joint one cannot expect fully attentive or exemplary service. I've got a soft spot for Indian vegetable dishes and theirs are not only really good and delicious but they have plenty of choices which delighted me. The familiar staple favourites and a lot more are genuine soulfood to please all Indian food lovers. Good stuff. And a good place for go-to whenever.

Sick and runny! 🤮 I have over 1 million views for my reviews. I had to go back and ask for more curry because it was so little and it was worse. Unfriendly boss and customer too!
