The food is great as usual. I’ve had them since they started and no disappointment so far. In fact, I’ve also collaborated with them during my uni days! Really one of the best halal takoyaki you can get in town. But the issue that I have with Yummy Takoyaki is the pricing that they offer on their website. For uninformed customers out there, please please please read the price properly before clicking “add to cart”. You can see that some bundles are more expensive (by a few dollars) as compared to buying a few boxes to get the same quantity as the bundle. I find this a bit confusing because we’re so accustomed to thinking bundle purchase = paying less for more BUT the way Yummy Takoyaki market their bundle prices is not how it is in a normal retail setting. To be fair, I have to say that a few (prolly 2-3 correct me if I’m wrong) bundles are indeed cheaper if you get the bundle. So I have no idea how they actually set the bundle prices for their menu. I got to know this when I wanted to get the epok2 bundle. 1 epok2 is $1 but 15 is for $22. I was shocked at why I had to pay $7 extra. I asked them and they said it’s an error and supposed to be $20. The $5 extra is for a tray… I’m not saying whatever they do is wrong, it’s their choice to market it that way. Just be very careful when you order the bundles! Just do your math first.

Come all the way here just to try. Takoyaki we’re already pre-cooked and put aside. When I bite on it… it’s cold. I’m one very unhappy customer here. Is it delicious? Nope. It’s general stuff you can find in Pasar malam. But maybe Pasar malam one is better because they cook on the spot and serve you hot.

Standard dropping like mad to the point where now i only receive barely-warm or even cold takoyaki. Have been visiting for a few years, in the past they had long queue and served hot fresh food, but the past year they kept pre-making the takoyaki and leaving them on tray to cool. No longer hot and fresh like the past. However still giving 2 stars instead of 1 star for the great taste.

Good portion, huge balls. Big chunks of prawn and octopus. But was a little disappointed to bite in and find that that was all inside - just the solo ingredient, no spring onions or the other things they usually throw into tako balls. The ball itself tasted too much a bit like soggy bread... can’t describe it otherwise unless you try it. Expect to wait about 40min on a Wednesday evening at 7pm.

The best takoyaki I have tasted which is really similar to japan’s takoyaki I tried. Unlike normal takoyaki at bazaar this is really filling and the filling was good each ball has the fillings. Worth the box of 10
