One of the most traditional long time favourite for Mee Goreng with egg. They do it with a flare ... hmm with a memorable mouth watering unique old school style. Somehow get the taste of the heat of the flame in the Mee, if I am making any sense at all.

This hawker centre used to be the go to place for supper, but when I was there with my son this evening at 9pm, half the shops were closed with exception of a few Malay and Indian Muslim stalls. We just wanted a quick bite and I have decided to go with this stall. We ordered 2 plates of maggie goreng. We waited for half an hour for the food to finally arrive. As it turned out, the maggie noodle were broken into small piece, we ended up scooping the noodle with spoon instead of fork. What's worse is the noodle itself is over boiled and portion very small. Yet it come with a price tag of SGD5.00!! After our meal, we decided to walk over to Mac Donald on the opposite side of Bukit Timah Road and got us each a cheese burger, which costs SGD2.90 per piece. Definitely not recommended. Over priced and bad quality.

Food poisoning central - the chicken was cheap, definitely not fresh or of good quality - the chips tasted of old oil. Much better stalls within the centre and other hawker centres.

Do beware of this stall. This plate of plain Maggie goreng pataya priced at SGD$7! after enquiring, owner was unhappy and said usually it contains meat. After which, threw in a couple of meat crumbs. Spent on a lesson.

Order their Nasi Goreng combo and told them not once but 3 times that i want to change the mutton to chicken steak instead and the person just nodded his head while talking to his friend.. While cooking, they continue to chit chat with each other non stop. Upon reaching home, i open the packet and found my Nasi Goreng combo with MUTTON. SERIOUSLY they need to do something about this. Talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking untill forget the customers order. Highly not recommended. Disappointed.

Went to the stall and was asked to go away by a rude indian keleng...have never come across a worse hawkerman than this. Hope his shop gets closed down and investigated.
