A halal western food restaurant in Arab street. Almost full house with early diners. We were seated on level 2 which has more tables. The menu with pictures all so tempting. Thankfully the dishes we ordered were yummy. Braised lamb shank was so soft and easy to break up. It came with mashed potato. The portion was big enough to share. Spicy mussels was served with too little sauce to eat with the bread but we got it top up after we feedback to the staff. The sauce was not as spicy as I thought but it was rich with tomato. Battered mushroom was huge in portion but when we ate them with the gravy and sauce from the lamb shank and mussels, we could almost finished them…so yummy. I will definitely go back again to check out other dishes.

We tried 3 food items on the menu: the grilled chicken, smoked duck and also the beast burger. The grilled chicken could be better seasoned but was decent overall, and the potato wedges were really quite crispy. The smoked duck tasted good, and was on the thicker side. The mashed potato went well with the sauce, which had a sweeter taste to it. Lastly, the beast burger was quite tall as it had 2 beef patties put between 2 burger buns. They were adequately seasoned and juicy. Will visit again.😋👍🏼

All the dish we ordered that night was quite good. Portion and taste was on point. Battered mushroom was a good portion to be shared unlike other establishment charging similar but gave a small basket. Overall, highly recommended place and will go again to try other dishes. A server automatically gave us sharing plates without us asking - loved that! Keep up the good food and service!

Hidden in the middle of the street is a lovely cafe that serves a good range of western food. The duck confit and mushroom soup were very flavourful. They had a salted egg spaghetti dish that was just right: not too rich but still maintained the salted egg flavour.

I loved the food here. The servings were generous and each dish served was flavourful. The mushroom soup was rich, thick and creamy - it was definitely made from scratch as I could taste the mushroom bits. The spicy mussels had a nice tang and the creamy duck pasta was seasoned well. The meat platter was overflowing with different kinds of protein - it's a dish to be shared. I came here for my birthday lunch and I definitely would come back again to try other dishes!

We had an absolute blast celebrating double birthdays recently. The service staff were awesome! We felt bad they had to climb the stairs to deliver our food. They were accommodating & we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Dining area was pleasantly clean, very cool because of the air-conditioning. Food was really good! We ordered a mix variety of dishes & drinks. I like what we have all ordered & please keep it good. We will return again! Thank you so much for the good service ❤️

Grill Ninety Nine (Halal) offers an excellent variety of food options, with a wide selection that caters to different tastes. However, the prices are a bit on the higher side. The drinks are skillfully prepared and delicious. The oysters are fresh and flavorful, providing a delightful seafood experience. The service is good, with attentive and friendly staff. Lastly, Grill Ninety Nine provides a satisfying dining experience with its diverse food selection, well-crafted drinks, tasty oysters, and commendable service. Although the prices could be more affordable, it remains a worthwhile restaurant to visit if you're looking for quality food and a pleasant atmosphere.

My gf and I had a last minute changed of plans and we decided to dine here. Located at shophouse, they have ground floor and second floor seating (the toilet is only at 2nd floor😅) Using the QR code for order. My gf had the chicken chop with wedges and I had a seafood marinara with penne and a iced black coffee. I would say her chicken chop looks more appealing than mine🤭 Taste wise- I would give 3.5/5 for my marinara. I find it tad too spicy (found cut chilies in marinara? Rare) I would suggest they make it a non spicy tomato based with separate chilli flakes to add on for those who like spicy. The squid rings were not clean thorough- the chewy thin film which I had to use my hand to remove and was impossible to bite off (had informed staff on this). I tried the wedges which my friend offered me and was heavenly! Crisp on outside and mush inside- perfectly fried. And they have their special dip sauce that blends well with it. Coffee… hmmm… it has a good taste of coffee but not sure why it taste diluted. Staff were quite attentive- wish there was more greetings or smiles but service is alright. I would come back again but this time I will not go for pasta:)

Small restaurant by the road side of Arab St. Nice ambience. Easy to order after scanning the QR code. Lamb shank was very tender. Lamb was juicy and flavourful. Baked oysters was not too spicy and tasty. Crispy fish and chips. Mashed potatoes was so good. Duck on mashed potatoes was tasty too. All mojitos were nice. The prices were not too high. Portion was just enough. I would recommend this place.
