Not hard to get lucky with fresh epok epoks given their turnover rate. We got these fresh from the fryer, perfect for a midday snack. At 60CENTS a pop, what's not to love? Yang's epok epok firmly belongs in our hawker culture and we need to protect places like these.

Amazing crispy epok epok. Their epok epok pastry holds up very well even after it is cooled down, extremely crispy. Kentang flavour has a nice kick to it and the sardine ones are definitely a must eat!

Malay store with Makcik filling the curry puffs and wrapping them up for frying inside the stall Food quality: + Spicy sardine vs Spicy kantang (potato) always have their proponents that argue 1 is bette than the other. Both have their merits - Quality sometimes not consistent as may not have sufficient sardine or onions in some cases - Rather oily too Food portion / Price: Small epok epok at $0.6/piece (last year was $0.5/piece, thank you inflation!) Crowd: Always expect a crow but the queue moves fast Payment: Sg QR accepted

I used to like this curry puff but recently the standard had dropped. It is so VERY OILY. This oil is soaking on the whole pastry even after using paper to remove it. Even the whole paper bag used to pack the puff was also soak with oil. It is so unhealthy to eat now.

Quality of the epok-epok sold here is very inconsistent. I used to frequent this place a lot (at least 2-3 times a week). On 3 different occasions, the epok-epok sardine lacked salt in its sardine fillings. I ended up throwing the epok-epok away. Sometimes, the epok-epok sardine is filled with too much sliced onions.. which is a total disappointment. Sometimes, it is too spicy. But half of the time, the epok-epok crust is pretty good and sardine filling is on point; a good balance of sardines, onion and seasoning. But the lack of QC, at 60 cents a piece, you’re better off buying it elsewhere. Edited on 25/11/22: Quality of epok-epok from this shop has dropped further. Epok-epok sardine with just onions, no sardine at all. Go and try ‘Epok-Epok Nye’ @ Arab Street. You wont be disappointed.

Enjoying epok for the very first time. A flatter dough. Crisper than regular curry puff. With a delicious potato and vegetable filling san curry powder. Very enjoyable. Here they use a slighter riper sweeter banana to make their goreng Pisang. 60 cents each.

My go-to place for my epok epok fix. Very popular epok stall in this small bedok corner hawker center. The popular filling are potatoes and sardine. If possible, call to order or be prepared to queue and wait. The stall closed on Monday and Tuesday. Recommended

Best epok epok in Singapore! The crusts stay crispy for hours. We usually take away 10 of each: Potato epok epok, Sardine epok epok, and Goreng Pisang in the afternoon. The epok epok stay crispy on the exterior until at night! Amazing. The filling is good too. Highly recommended.

Arguably one of the best genuinely-handmade epok-epok around. The epok-epok were freshly fried. If you like crispy epok-epok, this is a must have! Flaky, crunchy yet feeling light in the mouth. The fillings were reasonably filled too. Both potato & sardine options were well-marinated & tasted awesome 🤤 Oh did I mention it costs only 60cents/piece? Bang for buck definitely.

The epok epok was very crispy and freshly fried. It is so crispy that you could feel the crispiness of the crust and skin. The filling is very flavourful. Definitely recommend this stall.

First time trying their Epok Epok at Kinex basement food area and i like it. The pastry texture is just nice and got a nice crisp and thickness with a fair amount of ingredients. They have 2 flavours potatoes and sardines @70 cents each and both were a hit with a mild spice. The mee soto also worth trying and soup was thick and the spice is very well balance. If u like it spicy the chilli for e soto add a nice punch to it. The $5 mee soto comes with bergerdil and we get to enjoy in in aircon at Kinex. Worth a try if u are around the area. 😃

Very sad after they got suspended for 2 weeks. Their epok epok become like machine made. No longer as crispy and nice. Sardine used to be fork pressed now its color labelled and the filling escapes from the splits due to poor sealing. I prefer it before NEA ruined it for everyone
