A halal certified 24 hour yong tau fu stall. Neat, well organized with a good amount of choices for the items, noodles and gravy. Not bad for a lunch meal.

I was looking forward to eating here cos i ❤️ yong tau fu. But the Mala YTF left me with a bitter aftertaste! Yuck!!! Idk what was up with their Mala YTF & no one on the reviews section of this place warned me about it! It was bitter & so distasteful. The YTF pic is the dark red dish. Ate a few mouthfuls and then i chucked it aside. Pricewise was gd tho- for 2 bowls of YTF it cost me only $14. Hawker ctr location so bear w the heat & chaos abit.

Hmms, questionable hygiene standards. There were so many flies on the food when we went to pick them out from the open shelves. Insect catcher machine seems pretty useless. Unless you have a strong stomach, eat at your own risk!

In all of Singapore, this is the best mala I have found. Also, it’s not too expensive. Also, it’s halal certified. Good selection of yong tau foo items. Can have choice of different noodles or rice or extra item. Fast service as well. They have another outlet in Woodlands.

This halal yong tau food stall is a sister chain to Meixi Kitchen. Replicating the taste of traditional yong tau foo with chicken filling is no small feat, and Dou Vegetarian pulls it off admirably. Prices are reasonable, starting at $4.80 for a 5-piece combo with a choice of carbs. What truly impressed me was the interesting spread of handmade pieces, including a unique longbean dumpling.  Plus, they refry the fried items and king oyster mushroom upon order, ensuring the yong tau foo pieces are served hot and crispy. For an extra $1, you can even upgrade your soup to Tom Yum or Mala.  I ordered a whopping 8 pieces with rice noodles and opted for the Tom Yum upgrade.  In hindsight, the Tom Yum was a bit of a miss for me – a touch too salty and lacking the depth of flavour I craved.  However, the star of the show was definitely the yong tau foo pieces themselves!
