Wanted curry chicken but ran out so was asked to take chicken stew. I must say this is the most disgusting-looking chicken stew I have ever seen in my life and I am generally not that particular about food. But this looks quite yucky. In fact, I think my photo made it look better than it is. Taste wise, it is very average. Public service announcement - please just skip this.

Brunch was just divine. A place to have a break from air-conditioned area. A comfortable area to eat and have a nice chitchat with friends/colleagues.

Fish & chips was very oily, herbal chicken tastes very artifical. The coffee & pastry (cakes, puffs etc) was good. A good & windy spot to chill after a trip to the library or nearby bookshop.

By far the worst place for a meal around the national library area. Staff is short of hearing and you got to repeat the orders before they can understand . Food is nothing fantastic and the beef stew is too thick and appears it was emptied from a can and heated up simply. Rice is too sticky and does not go well worth the stew. It is not cheap mind you . After I finished my meal, I did a favour by clearing my coffee cup, the attendant just simply grab the cup from me and some of it spilled onto my shirt . Really terrible and I will avoid this place . Pls wake up your idea and start to improve or just shift out .

Food takes an awfully long time to be prepared during "peak" hours, which means you should avoid this place if you have an hour to go before an appointment or play nearby, because the anxiety of whether you will get your dinner will ruin the experience of the next activity you're going for. Staff are short in hands and temper; they won't let you know when the food will be ready, and they skip the order numbers to batch up orders for pasta and grilled meats. This is a recipe for irate customers to approach the counter numerous times to chase for their orders. But if you have time to spare the food is actually not bad.
