Can’t believe it’s real! So excited to have Papa ayam opened up here in Vivo city. It’s located right beside NTUC FairPrice and beach road curry rice stall in B2 (mrt floor). Ordered pickup to avoid crowd and waiting time.

New Stall at Vivo City. Nicely decorated shop in bright yellow and neon lights. Cute chicken logo. However upon entering the shop, you feel oily due to the poor air circulation in the shop. Seats are quite limited, around 30 pax but due to moving lunch crowd, there should not be a long wait. BUT the wait for food is quite long! Maybe due to the inexperienced kitchen and the counter staff have to keep apologising to the customers for the wait. Ordered the Ayam Greprek Half half which comes with rice, a portion of chicken and 4 pieces of crackers.. added $1 for chicken skin as recommended by the staff. Not recommended unless u really crave chicken skin.. only 2 small pieces for $1 and they are oily!. Chilli spicy is from level 1 to 15.. ordered level 6 which is listed as spicy but it is like level 1 at other Ayam Pengyet shops. Go for lunch if the other shops are full..

Tried out this place for lunch. One of the best indonesian food around. Their chicken is very tender and the chilli is awesome. Will definitely visit again!

Papa Ayam at VivoCity is a gem! Their fried chicken is incredibly tender and flavorful. The range of chili sauces is impressive, catering to all spice levels. The staff's service is top-notch. A must-visit for chicken and Indonesian food lovers!
