The chicken rice is really good and yummy. Dim sums are not too bad. Pretty good I would say. Will come back here for the chicken rice and maybe try the fried bee hon.

Ordered the sweet n sour fish with additional 3 pcs of chicken crispy roll. Ended my meal with a nice bowl of chendol. Overall the food was good. As good as what i remember them to be abt 10yrs ago. The place not crowded for a Saturday evening. Which is a good thing as i was having my meal alone.

The stingray was alright but the chili doesn't seem to go well, on the sweet side. Fried crispy noodles was crispy but doesn't come with sambal, the beef dint really taste like beef meat more like paru as it was pretty chewy. Salted fish bean sprouts probably the one most preferred among the dishes we ordered.

Not your average Zi Char shop so dont expect authentic chinese food served. Lots of substituted ingredients used to replace what’s supposed or a must to be in certain chinese dishes, but still fine if they can manage the dishes to taste as close as to the real deal. However, the Kway Teow of their Hor Fan dish came cold, harden and sticked together… guessed they have pre-fried the Kway Teow which is fine as most Zi Char Stores does that, but they will usually do a quick fry again with the sauce before serving, while they just pour the cooked sauces over it the pre-cooked Kway Teow. Sauce was Savoury but abit salty. Their Chicken Porridge was blend and had to add your own soya sauce, while their Crispy Seafood Beehood.. all messed up with the crispy side was on the bottom side while top was the softer texture of the bee hood.. Opposite of what others are serving. Seafood pieces were overcooked and traces of charred. Hope they can improve their rendering of authentic chinese food with substituted ingredients. No need to be 100% but at least 80% will do.

Big fan of the food served here at Tang Tea House (Bedok). Besides the large menu, one pulling factor is the fact that there’s always seats here somehow, or maybe we’re just lucky haha! One of the ultimate favourites is the roasted chicken rice. Rice is flavourful, really nice and soft. Chilli is spicy and provides the kick I need, however the star of the show is the chicken. There’s just something about the sauce that the chicken is lying in, that’s just so so delicious! Tiga Rasa Beehoon is also great, coming in closely at 2nd place behind the chicken rice. Packed with flavours, noodles are cooked till it’s soft and the sauce is just delicious. Special mention for the liu sha bao as well, perfect meal ender! :)

Passed by and saw the reviews, decided to try out. Wait to be seated and order through the staff, they will bring to you Hainan chicken rice decently nice More on the flavourful side especially the chicken sauce, hint of light soy and sweetness, might be salty for some light palettes. Chicken was tender and skin silky smooth, i liked it. Simple meal, very nice with the rice and sauce, suits my taste and very shoik Soup quite light and balances the saltiness of the chicken sauce

Fried bee hoon & horfun are good. The bee hoon looks like a plate of fried egg. It’s a bit dry but if mix with the gravy of the horfun, it became another nice favour. The chendol is so so and not so authentic. One thing impressive is the usual pork lard was replaced by dry shrimp that bring up the taste of the dishes besides the aromatic wok charred smell.

Came for halal dimsums! Here's what I like The shrimp and chicken fried dumplings were good. Taro buns were good. The fried tofu thingy (long ones) were good. The rest of the steamed ones were average. The Hong Kong style milk tea was good too. Total damage was about 41sgd for 2 pax

They have quite a decent selection of food across several categories, which are your regular zi char dishes in seafood, meats, vegetables and soups, and also local delights such as Hokkien mee, mee goreng and chicken rice. They also offer dim sum, which I feel are, however, overpriced ($4.90 for three pieces of har kow, prawn dumpling, for example). They also have set menus, which are more like sets of a few dishes for at least two persons, rather than for the individual. My order cost $17.70: 1. $7.80 for claypot curry chicken with rice; 2. $5.50 for Shanghai xiaolongbao (four pieces); 3. $2.60 for hot kopi cino, service charge and GST. I feel it's a bit on the high side though. Verdict: #1: chicken was tender enough, curry was not spicy at all #2: nothing out of this world #3: rather sweet

Disappointing meal of dim sum esp. xiao long bao and chicken feet. XLB skin is tough with less than a teaspoon of soup inside. Chicken feet are not thoroughly fried and taste rubbery. The other steamed dishes are average tasting.

Great meal, wiped out whatever we ordered and really enjoyed the dim sum and rojak - one of the best we had amongst the ones we tried in Singapore. Place is also air conditioned and good space even for big groups. Staff is also attentive and friendly. Will definitely return.

One of the best places to get halal dimsum. A lil on the pricey side but their portions are big especially for rice dishes. Had their shanghai steamed dumplings, golden sand bun, chicken rice, fried XO rice and beef hor fun. My favourite was the dough fritters with mayo! Good place for late night supper.

Service was very slow and charged so much for take away boxes which shows their advertisements. Chicken rice portion is so less but also add service charge on top of gst for take way when there isn’t a dine. Rip off and bad standard and no wonder it’s so empty compared to enak and spize side so crowded.

Came here for some chendol dessert and drinks, not bad. Wasn't too crowded on a Fri night. The chendol jelly was a bit hard though, probably not cooked well enough

Staffs attended to our requests patiently. We came by 2 days in a row. In fact, our favourite spot would be the one at changi too. Complete with life band. Kudos to the Tang tea House team.
