Visited on a public holiday, restaurant was quite packed but not overly long queue. Sadly, seems like the quality for this outlet is not as good compared to tampines. The fries were obviously sitting quite long too. Baked rice came out fresh and hot even though it took some time, but just feels that the standard is not there. Perhaps its becos of the PH. Hopefully would be better next time.

The place was packed on Friday evening. The food portion seems to have shrunk (refer to pic) But the service from the staff are generally good. Swensen’s should have corrected their location on google map though. Very geographically incorrect. We spent a fair bit of time to locate it

Here again at Swensens to have our favourite ice cream. My kids love to come here almost every week. Food is delicious and service have been great so far. Besides their ice cream, we also like their main meal and french fries. Seating capacity is big enough. The place is usually not full house so we do not need to wait too long for a table. Parking at Downtown East is also convenient as there are ample parking space. After having a good meal, we can go do some groceries shopping at Don Don Donki and NTUC.

Entry Waiting time : 30-45mins, even though there are empty dirty tables available Food waiting time : 30 mins Food quality : bolognese is still ok. Seafood pasta, I received 3 empty shells and only other 2 have it’s mussel on. Fish is hard like rock. Taste is fine Service : Staff quite ok but clearly the case of understaffed with the dirty tables. Kitchen could by overwhelmed by takeout orders too Will I go again? No for sure, unless I really didn’t have other choice

The staff here such as Razip in white shirt has worked very hard. However, their business is very good and the restaurant was 80-90% full on weekday (Wednesday around 6-7pm). They also receive many non- stop order for ice cream cakes and grab take away delivery. Perhaps the owner/ management can consider to hire more staff during peak hours to help the existing number of staff. I am not a f&b restaurant owner myself so I cannot decide for them. But the staff seemed to be overworked and the workload is beyond their service level as business is very good even during now the phase 2a / 2 pax dine in stabilisation work from home phase.

Best place for birthday redemption. Had a free firehouse (birthday), free goreng pisang split (birthday month), free coke (member drink) and dishes from the menu. Enjoyed them. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff whom my family are quite familiar with as we eat here regularly. Well done.

Revisited on 22 July 2023, food quality improved but some dishes were hit and miss. The pizza was way too thick and did not have much flavor at all. Curry baked rice was still good, cornflake chicken was a little meh.. luckily the salmon pasta was good.. - Visited on a public holiday, restaurant was quite packed but not overly long queue. The restaurant chain never disappoints! This time round, we ordered the: - Caesar salad - very fresh and crunchy! - fish and chips - this was delicious - chicken in a basket - consists of 3 piece chicken. The chicken was nice and tender and the skin was nice and crispy - sticky chewy chocolate - this is very sweet but so good!

The food is delicious, staff are friendly. We visit the restaurant every weekend. My wife typically asks changing French fries to vegetable, they always happy to help! The Utra burger and fish & chips there are highly recommended.

We had a great first visit to Swensen's in Downtown East. The food was delicious, the place was comfortable and friendly, and our waiter, Khaliq, was Awesome. He was very attentive and helpful. Really good customer service. Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!

Visited Swensen @Downtown East on 30/9. Service was fast. Food portion was good. Staffs including the manager were helpful, attentive, courteous and serve with smiles. The team deserves commendation for their excellent service: Mr Razib, Sharul, Irfan and Siti (cashier). Thanks for a great meal, ambience, service and brighten up our weekend.

Came here with my grandmother and aunts. The service was extremely terrible. Only 1 floor staff which is an older gentlemen. I lifted My arm for a good 15 mins just to ask about soup of the day. It wasn't even crowded. Only probably 4 or 5 families as it was only 4.15pm in the afternoon. So it was off peak hours. Standard of this place has dropped tremendously. Really disappointed with the experience at this place.

A good place to chill with family. We came at about 4pm to have some snacks for the family and they were abit slow in their reaction. Probably resting from the crowd that they may have had earlier. Service was abit slow koz only 1 staff was entertaining us, from showing our seats, to preparing our order til sending the prepared food. She was very helpful also, despite looking tired. Nonetheless, we were too focused on the food that we forgot to give due credits to her. Overall, in terms of space, the feel is very homely, suited for families. Staff were very welcoming and warm. We would recommend coming here, cheers!!

Considering the affordable price there, mostly satisfied to eat there with kids. Drink for kids are cheap ($1.5) with filled without limitation.
