Service and food are great! Generous portion and most of all its delicious. We were serve by Elvin and he is so entertaining that we do not mind when the food came late due to shortage of manpower. Tats how amazing Elvin is. Will definitely come again :)

We've been wanting to try it but each time we ended up at our usual staple of choice of their brother restaurant Malayan Council next door. Since it was my wife's birthday and our mixed race family has Chinese blood from both sides we figured let's try the promised fusion. And what a lovely delightful surprise it turned out to be. The food is really good overall with a special mention over the deliciously addictive homemade salted egg fish skins for starters. The noodles we ordered were really hearty and good. Our happy kids remarked the soupy fish noodles reminded them of how the Chinese aunties used to make for them at their child care centre. The star, and who we all agree made and complete the experience from start to finish, is the delightfully warm and engaging Elvin who took care of us. From persuasive recommendations to insightful explanation to helpful relational suggestions as well as knowing tips, with a mention that up ahead their Chinese chef is planning even better more familiar aunthentic Chinese favourites, Elvin and his colleague took care that we weren't short of wanting. A total satisfying and memorable experience. How fortunate for us to have chosen The Fortune Cookie. Highly recommended.

Went over restaurant week. Excellent platter that two of us could barely finish (i think we didn't!) and could barely walk afterwards! Very generous helping, the food quality (scallops, mussels, salmon, ribs, prawns) is excellent, very pleasantly surprised having walked in without expectations. The cakes that came with the set were also delicious and a very generous portion. The owner came by and had a chat with us, as well as all the patrons of the restaurant. The wait staff is warm and friendly. The atmosphere is pretty quiet, but such warm engagements encourage you to return! (they also gave us extra cake, because it was nearly closing...) Prices slightly on the higher side, but the food is delicious, the quality is excellent, and would be happy to recommend this to others.

We definitely love this place! We had our anniversary dinner here and the hospitality was superb! Food was delicious and yummy and absolutely big portion! Was served by Elvin and another Vietnamese server! Both was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for the food and service

Had lunch here with some friends and we were served by both Hen and Elvin. It was our first time dining here and it most certainly won't be our last! We were greeted by Hen when we arrived. He is friendly and always puts up a smile. He took down our orders without having to pen it down. Impressive memory! Food then came and the portion was HUGE. Worth the price, most definitely! I had the Kobe fried rice and the beef was done exactly to my liking! Major love for the truffle fries too! Elvin then kept swinging by our table to ensure that food were up to expectations. It's really such a homely place to dine at. A friend also slipped it out of her mouth that it was my birthday and I got a complimentary cake and also a birthday song! This restaurant is such a vibe. Can't wait to dine in again! PS: We even end up with a photo with Elvin haha
