A combination of Thai and local favourites. The local dishes are good. The location is very convenient and it opens earlier than many other similar places. The roast chicken noodles is tasty but unlike the regular wanton noodles.

Service and food was good. Had a lovely local style breakfast (coffee, tea, soft boiled eggs, mee siam and kaya toast) here at Saap Saap.

d cheapest local traditional black coffee available at d area. Temperature of d coffee is v high, cld have lower it a little for dine-in. Like d friendly touch of d seniors (wait staff). Will visit again :))

Had their soon kuah and lemongrass drink today. The soon kuah skin is bit thick while the stuffing is good, I loved their lemongrass drink which is really refreshing. My favourite place for coffee and local dishes. The otah bread, laksa and toast bread are excellent very authentic taste.

Terrible service. I went there last week to takeaway their grilled chicken laksa. Due to some dietary changes, I didn't want the hardboiled egg so I asked the cashier to replace with fishcake or taupok. She said "take it or leave but no replacement." I explained to her that I've replaced it previously. She further raised her voice and said "Last time was it me? No! Today it's me and I say no replacement." Her attitude was aggressive and extremely condescending. When I asked for her name, she shouted that she is "Ah-Ping" without any improvement. Even when I told her directly that she shouldn't be shouting at her customer, she carried on without remorse. In this competitive F&B landscape, having someone like that man your front desk is a recipe for disaster. I will never return to that outlet because of this rude and aggressive behaviour from this Chinese lady. Strongly do not recommend.

[July 2023] 1. Just a quick meal wouldn’t hurt but the portion was kinda small 2. Atmosphere ok, what you expect of a kopitiam 3. Just a typical eggs meal from a kopitiam lor Looks like I wasn’t the only one who felt the dish served was a bit cold. Kopi was ok. Toast nice but too small

Worst kaya toast and soft boiled eggs. The egg yolks were overcooked and became a sticky hard custard. The kaya was also overcooked and curdled. Is this the quality we to expect from saap saap thai?

The attached photo is what $5.30 gets you. Food looks miserable, tastes miserable, and is miserably cold. Service can’t even save it here, the cashier was absolutely horrible and it was like she didn’t want to even be there. When I came the place was quite empty, and a lot of staff were doing nothing. Despite this, multiple tables were uncleared and dirty, and remained that way throughout the duration of my short patronage. Not worth my $5.30, and I don’t think it is worth yours.

Service was rather good, but the noodles really is funny tasting. I had to force myself to finish up, trying my best not to drink the soup (it was anticlimactic). Tasted so bad that I wouldn't think twice about going back ever again.

Ordered the Thai Chicken Boat noodles and it was very good. It was fresh, and the soup was flavourful! The staff attitude was kind of rude even though I was the only person in queue due to non peak time 🤔
