Would give it to them for maintaining their food quality, quantity and variety over the years. One of the most popular spots to hang out for supper and indulge in the wide spectrum of menu selections - from Western, Thai, to authentic Malay/Indian cuisines. They are all good all-rounder with a rather good service to top it off. Was pleasantly surprised with their Alfredo and Carbonara! Love their Maggie Goreng and Naan with Butter Chicken as well. Prices are not as cheap as previous but still works to fill up the tummy and satisfy your cravings. They have a QR ordering system now as well which makes things much smoother operationally and of course digital payments is always a huge plus. Can get really crowded on weekends and Fridays with limited parallel parking spaces, but easily accessible via Beauty World MRT regardless.

Good mutton and chicken briyani, tandoori was OK. Maggi goreng was nice too. Food came fast even though we were a large group.

This Indian Muslim restaurant is crowded. People look full of life with chatting and eating. It’s not easy to choose from variety of menu. I was quite satisfied with the taste and price…!

Al-Azhar Restaurant, which is more of outdoor dining, with plastic chairs and tables, is located along with Bukit Timah Beauty World. The stall served mainly Halal dishes and consisted of Thai, western, and Indian-Malay dishes. It is a hit-and-miss dining experience for our team lunch. We have rated Al-Azhar Restaurant accordingly in the following categories: Food: 3.5, Service: 3, Value: 3.5, Atmosphere: 3.5. The app when we use it may not display the food ordered at the final receipt. It is a hustle The diner has to find a table. order your meal using the app and walk to the cashier to pay and the staff can prepare the food. Lastly, despite not including the service charge, the food/trays have to be returned. Despite the prices being reasonable, in terms of the dishes, the food is not flavourful and delicious. It lacks hardy herbs to the dishes early in the cooking process. Lack of customer service to introduce their top-rated dishes. Truly, a dining place to be forgotten.

A great place to have supper. For the price, expect $30 for 2 person. I would recommend butter chicken, although the portion is small..

I've been using this restaurant as a JC peeps meeting base for years. Glad to see that it, together with its competition down the road, has survived the building of the MRT line. When I last went, they didn't have date milkshake. Not sure if its temporary or for good. Date milkshake is good 👍

The food here is not as good as 3-4 years ago when I first came here for their prata. The standard has drop tremendously! Prata is so rubbery like, hard to chew! Chicken butter masala was not as good as before! I will not pay a premium anymore for this restaurant, came back after so many years and it had dissapointed me

Ordered their small mutton murtabak ($10 as at Nov 2022). What intrigued me was their QR ordering system which allowed payment by credit card. This is probably the first time I have paid for prata with credit card. There could be improvements to the ordering and payment system. Firstly, there is no receipt nor confirmation of payment. The site also refreshes to the default ordering page once transaction is completed. This does not provide the customer with oversight of the order on their end.

One of my favourite go-to place for naan & butter chicken. Giving them 5 stars for food consistency over the years. Their butter chicken are one of those that don’t taste greasy after awhile, the chicken pieces are of big chunks too. They have improved slightly on the cleanliness of the place, the floor & tables used to be sticky all the time. Do note that they have also replaced the physical menus with QR codes, you have to either make payment online or at the counter first before they will serve your food to you.

Pleasantly surprised by their mee soto. The soup was a little thicker than usual, but it was full of flavor and toppings. I didn't expect so much chicken and the bergedil for a little less than $5. I'll come back for this. And the teh tarik is pretty good too.
