Good to see A&W coming back in the Singapore market. They're a nostalgic childhood fastfood that I grew up with. Welcoming interior design, spacious layout and family friendly. Staffs are friendly and attentive. Love their root beer server.

They still have the best curly fries and root beer float imo. Went at 11pm with no queue. Understand from staff that day time queues are still the norm, months after it’s opening. Self collection is needed as kitchen is on another side of the walkway, wish that there is table service like McDonald’s too. Maybe in the future 👍

Ordered the beef coney dog combo and it was disappointing. Hotdog is not snappy, topping was cold. Even the curly fries was cold when served. Only the root beer is good.

It's been a while since I had an A&W burger and root beer float. I am from the era when A&W was new to Singapore. The burgers and hotdogs didn't really captive me but their chicken pieces were the best. Back in the days you could choose the type of pieces you wanted. You could have Drumsticks or Thighs and you didn't have to pay extra. The the size of the chicken pieces would dwarf any chicken today especially KFC. Anyways, the burger was a little small but tasted as it should. The curly fries were only warm and it got cold really quickly. As for the Float! Hmm, it was not too bad. The quality of the ice-cream could be more premium for a creamier and wholesome taste. Overall, Just okay!

Waffles are light and good. Burger is better than MCD but not as good as shake shack. Curly fries are crispy and goes well with the beef and cheese sauces. Root beer float is good. A bit expensive for the portion you get. Would come once in a while if craving root beer float. Enter through the side door, order from the machine, scan the QR code of the buzzer, collect your drinks from the main counter, and then your food from the food counter just outside the seating area.

Prices are a bit steep since they don't seem to have savers menu, but the quality is worth the price mostly. I also love the root beer float (+$0.60 for the vanilla ice cream). The waffles was a bit pricey but both the waffles and ice cream were great.

the chicken is my go-to order. skin is crispy and meat is juicy. the breast meat was a bit hard & dry but the drumstick was nice.

I had an order issue and I approached the cashier for help. The cashier Ms Hana whom with her restaurant manager, Ms Lovelyn tried their best to assist me. I am so grateful for their help despite they being busy with other chores. They certainly made my day and my meal so much enjoyable😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

My two-piece chicken set was tasty fresh 😋 Haffizan and her manager were all polite and friendly 👍🏻 seating capacity is quite limited but the temperature is cool enough. This A&W seems suitable for families with kids and is worth visiting if you are staying near Canberra Plaza

It's been such a long time since I had A&W and since it returned to Singapore years ago. Taste still great and what a nostalgic feeling for me growing up in the 80s 90s. The branch at Canberra plaza is big with self-service kiosks. The serving and return of trays are at the opposite side of the branch which I think is a very good move as it's not hygiene. Price wise is fair and I highly recommend their chicken and beef burger, definitely better than the usual M brand. P.S. Do you know A&W is actually the first American fast food brand in Singapore, set up way back in the 60s.

Tried the CNY special double fish burger, not too bad! Fried chicken and curly fries was tasty!! Ordered at 9.30pm near closing hours, the food was rather cold but still the taste was still there. Good place to chill cos less crowd. Root beer float was soooo good since many months ago.

Ridiculous pricing and packaging for the trio platter. Can't believe I spent $8.40 on this. Missed the board as I straight went to the kiosk and order it while I unable to find a breakdown for it, never expect the whole output to be so worst, which amount to me able to get a meal with abit of different consist of a drink too. Didn't make a fuss as I order it without checking the details but the fact that this menu is there is serious outrageous comparing to your other meal. Final touch is it come in a god damn corney dog box. I didn't even expect a glorious kind of presentation but at least make it presentable.
