One of my favourite Ayam Penyet places! Highly recommend to try their Ikan Dory Penyet Set ($6.80). I usually add one Begedil ($0.70) to go along with the set. Their Dory Fish tastes really good and consistent. Their sambal chilli is spicy so do take note of that. Don't forget to ask to add curry on the rice which makes everything blends well together!

Yummy and tender chicken with rice. Added a side order of vegetables with very nice lontong gravy. Will come back again!

Food is delicious, but cost of takeaway is very high ($0.30-$0.50) while they use the same box for both takeaway and eat in, only additional a lid for your food, and 2 small containers for gravy and chilli.. Totally not environmentally friendly at all. Would only eat in. Sometimes service is poor, depending on the mood of the people on shift. Their nasi lemak runs out really fast too, sometimes 2 hours before closing. not sure if it's supposed to be like this. They also charge extra money for additional gravy for takeaway.

The lady staff wearing spectacles (don’t know whether owner or staff) who working around 3 pm on 12th March 2023 treated to customer very rough and service is very bad. Look very inpatient since I started my order. I ordered 1 Ayam penyet and asking whether still got curry chicken or not then asked me back which one you want to order. Actually supposed to answer my question, right. Then all the ways very rough to customer and so so disappointed her service even though the taste is good. If the lady is the staff , should train well.the location is 116 Bukit Merah view.

One of the better Ayam Penyet’s I’ve had in Singapore. Second time trying uncle penyet and they’ve been pretty consistent. Slightly pricier than other locations. Better to order for home than eat at the location tho.
