Found this place on YouTube and came here after having the Prawn Noodles nearby as we intended to try as much as we can. Lovely enjoyable experience even though I am not quite fond of spicy food but theirs is magnificent. Gotta try the beef, the chicken and the tofu! Everything we ordered is well flavoured and I love the milk tea we ordered. Worth a shot if you wanna try something Indonesian.

Amazing food, with something to chose and try out from the meat, vegetable or vegetarian dishes. Nice seating upstairs in aircon surrounds or downstairs outside. Must try in Singapore, and normally a long queue at lunchtime - that’s a good sign! ◡̈

We went there during lunch time, from chicken to fish to sotong, etc. The quality & taste of food is 4.5/5. Friendly services. The price is on higher side though. Each of us spend between $10 ~ $14 for a plate of delicious food + drinks

Food are nice and authentic, but the taste is a bit less tense compare to the other Padang place. Price wise is cheaper compare to the other place. Location also really nice, near to the mosque. The vibe is authentic.

Came on a weekday during lunchtime and there was a snaking queue. Thankfully it moved rather quickly. The options to order was definitely not the simplest, there is an option for individual and one for sharing but some people order the sharing portion as an individual as well so I’m not sure what’s the best strategy here. I went with what appeared to be the popular items that I saw most tables having. Dishes were definitely on the spicier side and for a hot day it was quite overwhelming given I wasn’t sitting in aircon. Taste wise, it was a miss for me. Everything felt average or below average based on my taste buds. Rendang was on the tougher side. Considering how popular this is, I conclude I probably can’t appreciate good authentic Malay style food. Price wise, I was expecting it to be pricey, but definitely not paying $18 ( I also had a ice tea as a drink).

Spoiled by choices, vast selection of mains and side dishes on display. Tried a handful of dishes and most of them are fragrant and tasty. Their vegetable side dishes were also well executed. Kind of slightly salty for me. However, prices here are at a premium, especially with the limiting portion served. Good authentic nasi padang with their main customers observed as tourist during my visit. Not a meal to be enjoyed daily at this price point. And especially during lunch time, the hot weather is a push away factor for me to revisit.

Good selection of mains and side dishes on display. Tried their beef rendang and the rempah was very fragrant and tasty. Their vegetable side dishes were also well executed. However, prices here are at a premium, especially with the limiting portion served. Atas nasi padang with their main clientele observed as non-malays during my visit. Not a meal to be enjoyed daily at this price point. Will skip the telur dadar at $3, that's not worth it imho.

Rumah Makan Minang Pte Ltd is one of the best Malay food restaurants I have ever been to. This hidden gem located on Kandahar Street serves authentic nasi Padang that is so tasty, you will be dreaming about it for days after. The menu offers a lot of selection, but be prepared to wait in line as the dishes can run out quickly. The restaurant's atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff members are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend trying their Rendang and Soto Ayam, which are so flavorful and cooked to perfection. The dishes are served fresh and hot, and the portions are generous. The only downside is that the restaurant is quite popular and sometimes can be crowded, so I suggest getting there early or being prepared to wait in line. Overall, if you're looking for authentic Malay food that is both delicious and affordable, Rumah Makan Minang Pte Ltd is the place for you.

I came here a few times and the queue really speaks for how popular this place is. The fun starts with queuing and ordering the food. It’s also good to come here in a bigger group, so you get to savour the various dishes. My favourite is the tender beef rendang and the tauhu telur. Their best part is that there is an air-conditioned seating area on level 2 that is accessible by a staircase at the side.

Hits all the right spots if you’re craving for fragrant, spicy food. The tender beef rendang is a must try and it packs a spicy kick, which goes well when balanced with a spoon of rice. There are plenty of dishes to choose from and each is infused with spices and authentic Indonesian taste. Outdoor seating can be quite hot on a sunny humid day, opt for indoor dining if available. Peak meal hours will draw long queues, for good reason.

Came all the way from KL for a work trip and stopped by this resto for a good lunch. The food is tasty, we took a few lauk lauk with rice. The tauhu goreng was good, and it deserves another repetition the next time I stop by Singapore. Food portion is good. Could be a lot if you’re not a big eater. But still worth it and your tummy will thank you 🤣 They have outdoor seatings as well as air conditioned area upstairs. You have to order at the counter first. It could be quite busy during lunch hour, but worth the wait for the food !

The restaurant has limited outdoor and indoor seat. There are more seat indoor with aircon at level 2. The food taste superb, however not so many option available. Menu lontong, mie rebus etc.. are available for $5. Cashier service slow, so long queue for payment can built-up easily. The price is premium. Cash or paynow (scan to pay) are accepted. Recommended when you are craving for indonesia food.

I've eaten malay cooking for aeons; the taste and flavours of each kind of dish are ingrained in my DNA. Sadly, for such a popular name as Minang, the food is poor in taste and very pricy. For the lunch I had, it cost me $45 sgd. There are many small stalls in foodcourt that can rival this restaurant. The taste is just not up to standard, lack of salt, flavour and richness of Malay cooking. If its about healthy living, there are alternatives that they can add to maintain the standard. Like KFC, McD, they remain consistent throughout the eras... if these big names can do it, so can they.

Decent selection of mouth watering dishes. Spoilt for choice. Overall is good . Tahu telur is not the best but just give it a try if you’re craving for one. Price is competitive compared to other nasi padang stall.

Love the wide variety of great tasting dishes. Service is efficient and friendly. They have an alfresco section downstairs and air conditioned section upstairs - which are kept clean and well maintained.

Service, staffs and ambience is all amazing. Place is super clean too. Good place for a drink. Food is terrible. Quite honestly there’s no place I’ve seen with this much oil and salt. Even for vegetables. Everything is dripping with oil and drenched with salt. What I’m showing is a small part in the video.

Located right beside the Sultan Mosque, this Nasi Padang restaurant serves a variety of dishes ranging from meats to vegetables to seafood. As a local, it is just an average place, the food could have been more tasteful. But if you’re a foreigner, it would be a good spot for you to try local/indonesian dishes. There’s an alfresco seating area or you can choose seating at the aircon area upstairs.

Quite a good place to come if you are feel like having nasi Padang. Came here on a weekend and it appears that there is a constant queue. Seating places seems sufficient as there are also tables upstairs. So join the queue as we did, and you choose the dishes that you want. You can opt to have it all added to your plate of rice or have it served in sharing plates (one dish per small plate). Some of the dishes are spicy so remember to order your drinks as well. We ordered a plate of nasi Padang with ayam masak merah, sotong and vegetables. We also tried their ikan botok which is fish and veges mixed and wrapped up in a banana leaf. The serving was big and it was spicy too. Great overall. Leaves you satisfied.

Super duper delicious. The beef rendang was super good but it was oily. This is the kind of shop I don’t mind patronizing even though the prices may be a little too steep but it’s worth it! Very difficult to find excellent and quality Malay/Nusantara cuisines in SG. Maybe the management team can improve on the rate of service. Other than that, I will come back always!
