Very nice food. Very rare find. Ordered chicken rice set for 6 plus fried omelette with mushrooms which is a must try. Mix vegetables was very not overly cooked. Very relaxing on a Sunday afternoon. Owner and staff are very nice. Will try again for dinner as there is satay!

Worth the price. Enjoyed my bonding with colleagues. Flavors (sambal chilli & salted egg) were nice. Seafood was average. Some were fresh and sweet but there were a few that were below average. Overall would recommend as portion were great. Just had a slight concern about the staff welfare. The boss(?) was scolding her staff in front of us for incorrectly scooping ice cream serving. We were supposed to be served single-scoop but the staff served double-scoop. Please do not scold your staff in front of your customers. We really enjoyed our time there until this unpleasant incident happened. As much as you have to take care of your customers, do take care of your employees too. We are all humans. Otherwise, everything was great. Definitely would recommend coming here!

Another good find for halal restaurant with a different ambience. It’s at second floor of Punggol settlement. We were there for early dinner. With the roof retracted, we had a nice and airy sky. The order came pretty fast. Nestle prawn and Kang kong are my favourite. Black pepper beef has too much gravy and saltish.

Food was ok. Noteworthy is the lobster. infrastructure wise - the plastic rain cover could have been fixed or minimally patched up to avoid customers getting wet. Otherwise, we had a good family dinner with the shell out

I did a booking for my wife birthday for dinner at punggol settlement and the establishment sent me the acknowledgement email. Lo and behold, when we reach the restaurant, we found out it has closed down. Well Done. Thumbs up for such poor service and not updating their customers that they have sent acknowledgement on an address that do not exist. Keep it up. You have just lost a valued customer and many more to come.

Anyone looking for “kampung” atmosphere, food taste, quiet moment alone in Singapore, and happens to be in pasir ris, can visit this place. Present operator takes over in recent few months so not all past reviews are relevant. This rating is based on expectations on restaurant located in recreational park (arrived with no expectation actually), time spent in this restaurant at 2-3pm Friday afternoon, and on food i ordered, local seafood Tomyam Bihun and horfun. The young malaysian chinese chef was good. Dare to say that those two dishes served are the most delicious within 5km radius on land from this place. Tomyam: No holding back in mixing Lemon grass, celery, chilli, lime in soup. salty, sourly, spiciness taste in right proportion strong enough to stimulate taste buds to generate zest sensation. Horfun: great infiltrated “wok hey” rarely achieved by other kitchens nowadays. The prawns are fresh catch (from jurong port and had its shell peeled In restaurant by chefs/workers themselves) unlike most franchise kopitiam uses imported processed frozen peeled pre-packed prawns with a lot more preservatives and chemicals. The Malay song being played on the background, wild chickens seen roaming freely around park adding on kampung flavour. Overall nice place in the park to rest and relax. (To remind request for kopi teh to be thicker for anyone intend to order the same)

Ordered delivery for shellout. Asked for sambal tumis sauce but i think it came with sambal chili sauce as the sauce was too sweet and not spicy at all. It will be better if the staff checked on the order properly the next time.

Made a reservations for 9 pax on eatigo platform for 1pm. Reached the place at 1245pm and waited til about 1.15pm but the restaurant was still closed. Called their hotline number on Google page but it went to their main outlet at Upper changi Road. Check in with the person on the operating hours of punngol branch and he mentioned it will be from 1pm to 10pm. Told him that we have waited for than 30mins but it was still close. He then gave us another number to call and the guy told us to wait as he will call his people. After about 5 mins, he called back and informed us his worker is on her way there, and to pls give them 5 mins to go up. We waited again for 10mins when we were about to leave, the roller shutter moved up and they began to prepare and clean up the area. A guy came and passed us the menu. After about another 5 mins a lady served us to get our order. Total waiting time : about 55 minutes. Will we come again? YES! We were their first customer for that day and their food were AMAZING. Best seafood fried rice & fried kway teow in town. If you often travel to Malaysia, you'll know how good their food are. Every bite of their food is so delicious and reminds us of food in Malaysia. So full of flavour. We ordered a set platter for 3-4 pax that comes with tom yum seafood, tiga rasa fish & fried kailan. And added prawn nestum, hotplate beancurd, chicken rice, fried you tiao and cheese fries. Ended our lunch with scooped ice cream (new kiosk!!) They sell waffles too and assorted cakes. Bought 3 ice creams and 2 cakes to go. Total spent $250+. Time of food preparation and served to our table was quite fast. The only thing they need to improve on is to ensure that the restaurant opens on time. While waiting for the restaurant to open, there were about about 5 to 6 customers who came up to check on the restaurant, but left as it was closed. Hope the management look into this matter closely.
