Service speed is concern. But before it was fine. I’m a regular customer and noticed in the month starting August , the queues have become longer and takes longer a to get food and drinks. I think that maybe they are taking too many Delivery orders that is causing a backlog and delays. I provide this feedback because this is my family’s favorite weekend cafe. Hope it gets better soon.

Friendly staff, I ordered kopi but they heard tea, and I didn't check the receipt. When I went to collect and realized the mistake they changed the drinks without any fuss. It's good to see such a great service although it's also my fault of miscommunication. Also one of the last few places where kopi c is made with real evaporated milk instead of evaporated creamer.

Coffee was tasteless, rendang chicken was tasteless, prawn cracker was soft and smelled of stale oil. Standard has dropped from 5 star to starless. How am I going to spend my remaining credit? 😪

Nice traditional breakfast with good quality eggs. Their other regular dishes are quite pricey. Does not accept cashless though. Service could be improved.

Tried the wholegrain fanchoy here and was utterly disappointed. There were probably 10 grains of brown rice in the whole dish?? Taste wise...it was average. Really hope they’ll up the content of wholegrains and not use the word “Wholegrain” just as a marketing ploy

Bad service after changing staffs, waited there for 15mins+ in front of the cashier but no one take order. The staffs just busying beside the cashier doing their takeaways like the customers who are queuing there are transparent 🙂 After taking so long to make order and ended up waited for this toast - the thinnest toast I’ve ever seen 👍🏻

Went to rivervale plaza today morning and ordered 2 sets. Asked to change the mee tai mak to yellow noodles. The person at the counter, said that it is not possible to do that change and that it is not industry standard to do so. This is a funny reply. I told him that I have actually requested for this change before and that has been acceded to. Then he went ahead and said that he will do the change only this time. He was also very slow in taking orders. His name is jhoven. This is the first time I have experienced this kind of service fron heavenly wang.

Always my fav place to go. Happy to see the change in staff to be more friendly. Skill in drinks can be lesser milk and sugar. I think is more than average in a usual coffee.

Dirty, I’m not one to pick on the cleanliness much, but this place— questionable. Space feels dark and damp, the entire Rivervale Plaza is old (?) so I’m ok to close one eye. However, all their cutlery were CAKED in leftover foods, stains and crummy stuff that I have no idea what they were or where they came from. Lost my appetite after seeing the dirty cutlery, but I couldn’t waste the food… taste wise was ok but doubt I’ll return lest for takeaway drinks

The shop is getting dirtier..... look at the tray.... tables & seats are stained.... not well maintained. I used to enjoy a cup coffee and buy lunch for my family frequently from your shop. However, if the place is not well kept, your shop will lose 1 custom.

Drop by this place in the afternoon/evening and you will see a Encik Ramji. He will greet you politely, make the best teh in Rivervale and will thank you before giving you your order. Love his teh that i will get 2 cups at one go instead of 1. 5 stars just for Ramji.

I think this outlet needs a little love from Heavenly Wang HQ. The place is an unqualified mess, with leaves and bread crumbs all over the place, the tray return rack filled with cutlery and bird faeces, smudges and stains on their outdoor-facing glass walls. Moreover, the Malay/Filipino looking uncle with a blue cap making the drinks and manning the register was completely overwhelmed with whatever he has to do at the time of my visit. Flustered and irritable, he lost track of how many Shopee vouchers I had redeemed when I had only redeemed two, started serving the next customer while I was navigating to my second Shopee voucher, and actually forgot about my order. Had I not walked over from my table to the counter to find him serving drinks to the next two groups of customers behind me in line, I would never have received my order. He also glared at me menacingly when I told that he had missed out on my order, even asking me what I had ordered when he could refer to the transaction history on his register or ask for my receipt. The Indian lady making the toast also had this perfunctory manner with which she had toasted the bread, and she had the cheek of serving me toast that was badly charred and burnt on one end. Thankfully, she had the decency to redo the toast when I asked her to do so. She was a tinge more hospitable and willing to serve than the sullen-looking uncle. The metal trays with which the toasts were heated in the oven did not appear well kept and cleaned as well; they were charred and full of soot. There are so many lapses in service and upkeep at this outlet, and my experience here is telling of how poorly the Heavenly Wang group is doing in terms of staffing, training and outlet management. You would do better at the Heavenly wang outlets at Admiralty Place and Millenia Walk.
