Small outlet but friendly staff that recommend food and with good service. It was a bit quiet despite being the start of Xmas weekend. Decided to give it a try as the Indian patrons are smiling while eating inside. Wasn't disappointed, the food quality is really very good. The mutton literally melted in my mouth and this is definitely one of the better masala tea beside the one my Indian friend brewed herself. Will be coming back again 😋😋😋

Great food! Was asked how spicy we want it, The mutton is soft and tender. They gave us a white sauce to remove the spicyness.

Great service from the manager and delicious food. I was craving for Indian food after gym for lunch and decided to try their fish tikka biryani and masala tea. They were very delicious. The next day, I came back again and tried their fish dum biryani and paneer butter masala and really enjoyed the spiciness and flavours of the fish dum briyani. Portion size is good too and I have a big appetite. The raita that comes with the meal is tasty too, and I always have two servings. Goes really well with the spice level of the biryani. The restaurant is small but it’s good for a fast casual meal on your own or small group. No frills, but I just enjoy the food here.

I was there this afternoon. The place was pretty empty despite being a Sunday. And soon I understood the reasons. I ordered a Palak Paneer, Onion Kulcha and Mint Prata. - Firstly, the taste was super bad. Palak Paneer was bland and just plain tasteless. Kulcha was hard and cold! - Secondly, the price was ridiculously high. This tasteless food costed S$24. I cant figure out why one of the worst Palak Paneer would be priced almost S$15. - They take forever to prepare the food! - The quantity of the side dish (Palak Paneer) was just tiny! Can only have one Prata with that!! See attached photos! - Unlike many genuine Indian Food outlets (where spicy food is served), no drinking water is provided. You will have to buy the 200ml Dasani water bottle and they will make money through that as well. Overall, it was DAY LIGHT ROBBERY! Will never go back and never recommend to anyone!

Excellent to the max. Ordered chicken and mutton briyani. The rice is flavourful fluffy and the meat are tender. Service is beyond expectations. Kept checking with us if everything is alright despite having many orders.

Such an amazing Indian restaurant in Paya Lebar. The staff was so polite and nice to us and the best part about the food was that all dishes were fresh and hot and came to our tables quickly. The food was also delicious. Try their masala tea! We had the butter chicken - so creamy and smooth , you can taste the cashew nuts. We will definitely come and again!

The food was a delightful combination of North Indian and South Indian flavors, and what impressed me the most was how tasty it was without feeling heavy or greasy. The Biryani rice was bursting with flavor and left me craving for more. The staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you're a fan of authentic Indian cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

Overall taste is good. Full of flavor and spice. The only let down is the menu item SM12 on second photo, showing a whole piece of chicken leg, but only 2 miserable dwarf size chicken bite delivered. Visual expectation failed … a bit of let down. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ Saving grace was the taste, texture, flavor is very good. Wish they could update their misleading menu, else food is good. As customers would be expecting what they have ordered on menu. Verdict, I might come back to dine in for taste sake. But will not do so due to lack of communication via menu and by the staff …

This is the best Chicken Tanduri/Dum Biryani I ever tasted! Its flavours and spices lingers in my mouth, with perfect match of fresh watermelon juice…made my dinner satisfying and worth beyond its price! ♥️

Aloo Gobi (SGD $7) @ Madura's Restaurant. . Restaurant quality casual North Indian dining. Dishes are made to order, so there's usually a short wait. . Compared to elsewhere, their version of this dish has a stronger curry paste, lending the cauliflower and potatoes a robust savoury salty sweet spice flavour. . The cauliflower also retains a more crunchy texture, while the potatoes are nicely tender. The flavours linger pleasantly on for a short while. . . . Bhindi Masala (SGD $8.90) @ Madura's Restaurant. . The curry here borders between paste and gravy, being thick and velvety, with deep vegetal earthy savoury spice notes and a hint of sweet on the tail. . Their okra is more skinny than elsewhere, with a satisfying crunch, picking up on the flavours of the curry. . More chunks of juicy tomato would be welcome, but this remains an overall satisfying rendition. . . . Butter Chicken (SGD $12.90) @ Madura's Restaurant. . A pretty lace drizzle of cream tops this decadent curry gravy, thick and creamy with bold meaty sweet savoury spice flavour. . The marinated boneless chicken chunks are decently tender with a light chew, picking up the rich flavours of the curry gravy, with an added layer of smoky notes that gently entice. . Lovely with bread or rice. . . . Dhal (SGD $6.90) @ Madura's Restaurant. . They've actually reduced the price on this from SGD $9.90 previously. . The lentils here are slightly more chunky instead of smooth, with a thicker texture that starts to set, requiring periodic stirring. . Carries robust earthy sweet savoury spice flavour, and the garnish of fresh coriander lends a vegetal herbal bitter sweet note. . . . Fish Tikka (SGD $16) @ Madura's Restaurant. . Fairly large and succulent chunks of boneless king fish, coated with a generous marinade of yoghurt and spices. . This has a tender moist flaky texture, coming off in smooth fillets. Has smoky meaty sweet savoury salty spice flavour. . Drizzle a bit of lime juice for a touch of tangy zesty sour flavour. . . . Gulab Jamun (SGD $5) @ Madura's Restaurant. . Generously sized, the large milk solid doughnuts can't quite fit within the serving glass, fluffy and pillowy soft in texture. . Absorbs the thick flavoured syrup, with each bite releasing perfumed aroma and bright floral spice sweet earthy flavour. . Bits of shaved pistachio complete, lending a nutty note.
