This is our second time back this month for dinner and there is something attractive about this place. The sourdough is fresh, ‘meaty’, and crusty crispy. Paired with the clams and it’s a pair made in heavy. We ordered the Chili crab pasta and it came across as too sweet and it masked the spice level. Pasta could have been firmer. Other than that, it’s a hearty meal. Although there is something we like to point out. On both occasions, we had to sit outside and were told seats indoor were reserved. But we stayed till pretty late (835pm) and the ‘reserved’ tables were not taken up! There are a lot of insects outside eating us as we are eating. This evening we called to reserve but they didn’t log down our reservation and sent us outside instead. Hope we will have better luck next time.

Attentive service, good food, gorgeous atmosphere, the place is by the waters and kids can run around jus outside the restaurant. Menu is somewhat limited but the portion enough and the taste is good. The drinks are not too sweet too. Good spot for a drink.

Really a nice space and atmosphere for brunch. Even though it seems quite full during peak weekend periods, there’ll still be tables available as the turn over was quite fast. Food was a hit and miss. Many elements in the big breakfast could be better, like the sausage and baked beans. The hot drinks were quite average for the price point. Star item would definitely be the sourdough bread and they have quite a number of varieties. Bought home a whole loaf of the chocolate sourdough. Had a tester and that’s what convinced me to get it. Maybe management could consider the option of half a loaf instead, for smaller families like mine. Wait staff was courteous and over the counter service was friendly. Price seems alittle steep for a cafe in a neighbourhood location, so it caters for those who doesn’t mind central-location cafe prices at a convenient neighbourhood mall. However all in all, would return for tea and to try their dinner menu as well.

Nice ambience. 🎼 Lovely food. 😋 I had the Big Brekkie for breakfast with a large flat white. Feeling stuffed. The sourdough with the garlic butter is great! I managed to swap the baked beans for something else with the staff. Scrambled eggs was creamy. Tomatoes were juicy. A little friend was also taking a video of the place. Hi! 😃 Came back again for lunch. This time I had the tomato soup and the steak and eggs. Tomato soup was really great, but the sourdough with garlic butter was amazing. You can request for garlic butter or other butter and the server will give it you to go with your sourdough. 😊 This was the second time I had the steaks and eggs. This time around the steak was fabulous compared to a previous time where it was grainy. Eggs were slightly under, but not that bad. The spicy butter was a bit too spicy for me. 🌶

They sell seriously good sourdough bread! It’s not cheap at $24 per loaf but the loaf is gigantic and also very good! You get to try several flavours, before picking your favourite. Sourdough pastas were good too. Very large portions and moreish tasting. Service was excellent. A nice dinner in the heartlands. Will be back for pizzas

Sourdough from other cafes that I've had before usually turned out tough and toasted on both the interior and exterior. However, at Anna's place, her sourdough boasts crispiness on the exterior while remaining soft and chewy inside. I had the Eggs-Your-Way (scrambled) served with Anna's House Sourdough. The sourdough, as described earlier, perfectly complements the tender, slightly buttery-tasting scrambled egg. It's an excellent accompaniment to a cup of flat white coffee.

Our third visit, each time we try something different. Yesterday we went back for the Grilled cheese and tomato soup, only to find out that menu ends at 4.30pm. So we ordered 5 cheese and honey sourdough pizza and so glad that we did! They were generous with the blue cheese, so if you're a blue cheese lover, this is your match. You get a gravy for the crust too and it was delicious. Great for Punggol!

We had a great time at Anna’s. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to sample the sourdough bread and gave us a good introduction. The food was also really good and filling. We had the diversity board which was quite filling for 2 us, it included 3 different types of sourdough bread as well as sourdough crackers. And it comes with a variety of dips to try with. We also had some dessert and drinks.

On a weekend morning, I visited Anna's, and it's become a regular spot for me now. Each visit brings a new culinary adventure. I've sampled various items from their menu, but the coffee with ice latte art remains a consistent favorite. It's a place that surprises and delights with every order. The sourdough French toast still stands out as a hearty and delicious choice, almost like a meal in itself, perfect for a satisfying breakfast that can keep you fueled well into lunch. The coffee continues to impress with its excellence, and I'm looking forward to exploring more items on their menu in the future. One notable discovery was the spicy muffin, which not only tastes great but looks cool too. However, the brownie was a letdown, unfortunately. On the coffee front, the butterscotch latte is a delightful pick. Anna's has become my go-to place for a midday coffee post-lunch, and I find myself here at least twice a week. It's a place that keeps me coming back for its delicious surprises and comforting atmosphere.

I live nearby but only today I visit here. I love the food and the environment here !! Most importantly, very high money value, the price is totally worth for the healthy ingredients, big portion as well as the good flavours. I ordered avocado toast and add on eggs which is my favourite thing for every cafe, they did a good job of the fresh smashed avocado and the hummus; I tried the carrot cake, very dense because full of walnuts, orange skins and dry grapes, a bit dry for me, but over all it’s very nice place to enjoy the brunch 🥰❤️ will always go back and recommend friends

Awesome spread of sour dough. Love the food. Well portioned for its price & lovely hearty presentation. Onion soup is a little on the sour side, a little too sour for my liking. Would love to have a more generous portion of their butter. Had their french toast, perhaps can reduce the acidity of the berries, it overpowers the sweetness of the french toast. Lovely ambience to have brunch especially after a ride. Service wise, lack of attentiveness and finesse. Otherwise, it's perfect.

First time there. I ordered their diversity board and it was so delicious! Their ingredients and fresh and flavourful. Sourdoughs are nice too. I will definitely go back again to try other dishes 😁

The environment is nice. The sourdough bread is nice. The pasta dishes are too soggy (like noodles in soup). The umami pasta has too much truffle in it. It makes the sauce a little bitter. The steak & fries dish is nice. Steak is tender & flavorful. Overall, pleasant dining experience but will not go there again for the food.

Nice atmosphere, can choose to sit outside. Food serving is pretty huge for the salad and pizza. Unfortunately our pasta was served alot cold and noodles were not cooked through. Pizza was a pleasant surprise, the accompanying sauce elevates the taste. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Found this place nicely nestled in the estates, beside the waterway. Relaxing with great food. Service was great too. People at Punggol, do come here to enjoy yourselves. Not just everyday food and yet not too foreign. I totally enjoyed my dinner!

My recent visit to Anna Sourdough presented a delightful exploration of sourdough-centric cuisine. The aptly named "Anna's BIG Brekkie" proved more than capable of satisfying two appetites, offering a generous portion of perfectly toasted sourdough topped with savory Italian-style chicken sausages, baked beans with sweet onion jam, creamy scrambled eggs, and flavorful cherry tomato. Each component complemented the tangy sourdough beautifully, creating a harmonious and satisfying breakfast experience. Additionally, the Truffle Fries were a revelation. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and generously infused with fragrant truffle oil, they offered a decadent indulgence. The portion size was commendable, easily shared between two diners. Overall, Anna Sourdough impressed with its fresh, flavorful, and generous dishes. The emphasis on sourdough shines through in every creation, and the menu caters to both breakfast and brunch enthusiasts. While the portions are substantial, the quality and taste justify the value proposition. I highly recommend Anna Sourdough for those seeking a unique and delicious dining experience.

Service was very welcoming and warm. Staff were attentive to our needs. Had the meat sourdough pizza and it was really good. Love the thin crust and the ratio of toppings to the flour is just nice. Had the salad, big serving, worth the amount spent👍👍👍

We were here on a Friday night and it wasn't crowded, there was still some seats left. We had their coolers, it was refreshing but be prepared to receive a lot of fancy ingredients in them. Also had their Double Chocolate Chip Sourdough Muffin (highly recommended for chocolate lovers!) And Sourdough Cake Slice (it's sticky date — I like it but not appreciated by everybody). Lighting was good, it wasn't hot there despite the yellow lights. Only thing, service can be a little bit slow. Be prepared to wait. But staff are all friendly and helpful!

Anna Cafe offers a tantalizing array of dishes with a diverse menu that caters to various tastes. The food quality is exceptional, earning high marks for its flavor and presentation. However, while the food undoubtedly impresses, the dining experience is marred by the slow service. The grilled cheese toast with tomato soup is divine. Also enjoyed the vegan breakfast and the meatballs creamy tomato pasta were good too. Onion soup was just ok for me. Not enough flavour.

Love the sourdough bread here!!! So fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Also love the iced butterscotch latte — the homemade butterscotch is delicious to drink, you can really taste the butter with a good amount of sweetness and also the coffee (because there are 2 espresso shots 😜) lots of seats with indoor and outdoor seating, highly recommended to sit outside and enjoy fresh air with a lovely view.
