First time and last time to this place. Mediocre food, small quantity, low quality and overpriced. The beef karubi is literally half the thickness of a usual yakiniku restaurant. The rest of the beef we ordered were full of tendons, sinewy and tasteless. We ordered chicken and the quantity is a joke. The supposedly 160g cut feels like an appetizer. So in the end we had to order extra cuts. For 3 adults and 2 kids, we spent over $140. I would rather go to Gyukaku at Tampines One for their higher quality. It is so disappointing as I thought they will rival Yakiniku Lite but no, they are miles apart.

The self-service Yakiniku restaurant wasn't as satisfying as I had hoped. The meat portions were quite small for the price I paid, which left me feeling a bit disappointed. Moreover, the waitress seemed rather impatient while taking my order. However, despite these shortcomings, the restaurant was still quite crowded. I believe the reason behind the crowd is its halal certification, attracting a significant number of diners.

They have quite a lot of seats and it’s not crowded during lunch hour. The quality of meat is better than it’s competitor but u can’t choose the amount of rice you want. Kimchi is not so good that comes in the set. Overall is ok but clothes stinks when I walk out… meaning the ventilation need to be improved.

Came on a pH eve, no queue at all. Service was prompt and food was ok. Decent portion but the quality of meat, soup and rice is not as good as yakiniku - go.

Order a double karubi set, the meat are so so and for the same price it's not s good compared to a certain Yakiniku outlet. Somehow the meat are very fatty while not as tasty compared to others. We have 4 pax and all have the same feedback. Naturally, should we want to eat Yakiniku, we will go further to Parkway Parade or Suntec City for a better quality of meat which have never failed us.

Nice ambience. Attentive service. Many servers to help out. Many choices of food. Many different type of beef sliced thinly for grilling. Good portion for noodles and plenty of beef inside. Scallop is really good too. Ample parking space.

Ordered the sambal belachan beef set and shokudo set for $38.97 inclusive of service charge. The set meals include side dishes such as kimchi, sauces and seaweed soup. I got to say, the meats were super delicious and well-seasoned and the kimchi was delicious too (much better than Yakiniku Like). Although both brands are relatively similar in terms of menu and flavours, what differentiates the both is the seasoning of the meat and side dishes! Surprisingly, even the belachan was delicious and paired very well with the meats! Service was excellent - the staff were courteous and attentive which is a plus point! Overall, very worth the price and will come back again soon!
