Food is alright. Service was bad, went to cashier to order, but was asked to go back table and wait. Waited for awhile. Payment was a mess. No receipt given, and food price was overcharged. When confronted with the menu prices, realized that they are charging higher than what was listed on the menu. Ice Milo listed as 2.20, the cashier said was 2.50. Murtabak medium size, charged twice $10, when we only ordered 1. They reluctantly refunded the $10 upon confrontation.

Food here is above average, it’s nice. Price per pax about $-$$. Service is good. Great for late night supper with ample parking space (hdb carpark)

If you come at the right times (off-peak), their prata are made fresh to order. Curry quality is decent as well (not watery kind), prices are reasonable.

I ordered a chicken maggie goreng and the bill came up to $6. Honestly, it seemed a little steep for a regular neighbourhood Indian muslim food stall. But to be fair, taste-wise, the food was pretty decent. Would give it 4 stars if it was more fairly priced.

This place is nearer to where I stay. However, after eating the same dishes, I dare to conclude that the Syed Alwi outlet is so much better. Firstly, the Thosai sauces are quite diluted and hence lack the taste I get at Syed Alwi. Secondly, the chapati was undercook, 🙄. The teh O is just as good, ordered another teh tarik which is also good. Next time, I will travel further for a hearty Thosai and chapati!
