Nice place for some pasta! We tried the laksa and miso butter which were both not bad, though the laksa was on a dry end rather than saucy. Loved that the pasta was very thin and al dente too. Fries was crispy and generous serving. Will be back to try other flavours!

Yummy and affordable pasta with a twist! I was quite shocked at the generous serving especially the prawns. This is also not that spicy, suitable for those who are looking for mild spicy laska pasta. As this is Laska Olio, which means Olio based pasta, this can be considered as dry laska. Suitable for those we do not like creamy pasta. The carbonara was indeed creamy and yummy, creamy pasta lovers must try this. Again, generous serving of big slices of smoked duck!

I am so glad to say that the taste of the pasta over at JEM did not disappoint me! They were as good as the ones I usually have their CBD outlet. I tried their Christmas Special: Pumpkin Cacio E Pepe for the first time and I love that cheesiness of the sauce coupled with the sweetness from the pumpkin and cranberry! I also love their “Build your own pasta" options that gives us the customisation option for our pasta. Noted that for the JEM outlet, other than pasta, they also serve some light meals and side dishes too.

We get to build our own pasta, with your own choice of pasta, protein and topping, from just $7.90 only! Spaghetti was well-cooked (al dente) and flavourful. The aglio olio is not too spicy, just nice. Love the flexibility to mix and match the ingredients. The nacho cheese is super generous! Delicious and affordable meal!

Yummy pasta! We ordered the alfredo smoked duck, aglio olio and cheese fries. The alfredo is good! Good combination between sauce and smoked duck. The aglio olio has generous chicken. My little one enjoy the cheese fries too!

Impressive Service and Vegetarian-Friendly Options at Twyst Twyst impressed me with its fantastic service and ability to cater to dietary preferences. When we discovered that a dish included ham, the staff quickly replaced it with a vegetarian alternative, showing their commitment to customer satisfaction. The restaurant offers a wide variety of pasta choices that cater to different tastes. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find numerous options to choose from, resulting in a fulfilling and delicious meal. The food at Twyst was of exceptional quality, with each dish prepared meticulously and bursting with delightful flavors. The perfectly cooked pasta, with a satisfying al dente texture, combined harmoniously with the accompanying ingredients.

Heard the aglio olio is a best seller but after biting into one I was less than impressed; maybe I'm just more into cream based options, or a likely outlier. 😅 The miso butter version (wife's order) was more palatable and so was the nacho cheese fries - it was a first time for us feeling like the cheese to fries ratio was a little overwhelming (sadly the photo doesn't really show). 😂 Given the pricing, I think it's still an easy recommendation and I'd most likely return to give the other items on the menu a try.

Tried the miso butter pasta and another with cream sauce. Both were good but the miso butter can get a bit overwhelming in taste after a few bites. I find it a little too sweet. The fried mid wings were good.

Small pasta restaurant in basement of Jem. First off, this modern concept of pasta eatery lacks choice of pasta and sauce. You only get spaghetti or penne, Aglio olio or Bolognese or creamy Alfredo. The other sauces were butternut kombu, miso butter and Laksa Olio. All not your normal pasta sauces. I ordered the Aglio Olio and choose smoked duck breast as my protein. The bowl was served with pasta still piping hot. The spaghetti was cooked just right. But overall it lacked garlic, the usual herbs and was excessively oily. Duck breast was tasted like processed meat. Call me traditional but I think I’d better stick with proper Italian joints when I want to eat pasta.

Went to one of their outlets at Jem and the ordering process is seamless. Order is via their touch screen whereby we can DIY our own pasta, and they do provide sides and drinks etc. The best part is there is no GST and service charge. Pasta was served pipping hot and flavourful, with additional garlic requested. Portion was generous considering the price and mussels were sweet and juicy in taste. Mid wing and fries were fried till crispy and chewy.

Value for money pasta located at Jem, huge portion and flavourful. Allow us to DIY our own pasta, and do offered sides and drinks as well. Well recommended and they are halal as well.

We ordered the tomato pomodoro with smoked duck and mushrooms with large truffle fries on the side, among other things. The food was decent. The serving size for the truffle fries was indeed large. Unfortunately, the cutlery was disposable. The plastic fork had sharp parting lines which made twisting it for spaghetti uncomfortable.

I ordered Laska Olio and added Kale. It came piping hot! Including generous amount of ingredients :D Presentation and taste was not bad, but pasta as the main carbo was a little undercooked. If it was cooked a bit more, the meal would have been perfect!

Quick dinner at Twyst Pasta @twystpasta! 🍝 While the pasta choice (penne or spaghetti) may be somewhat limited compared to similar takeaway build-your-own pasta concepts, there is a lot of "pasta"-bilities on the combination of toppings and unique sauce bases to choose from! ⁣ ⁣ Have heard pretty good reviews on the 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝘀𝗮 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝗼 & we customised ours with sous vide egg, sauteed prawns, clams and cherry tomatoes! The pasta itself was alright, would have preferred a more al-dente texture but the laksa base won it for me! Most laksa-based pasta we have tried thus far tends to be creamier, but theirs comes with an intense savoury and lemak flavour like a dry laksa and is not "jelat".⁣ ⁣ Also tried their 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗼 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 with spaghetti, mushroom and poached chicken! The miso base was appetising and umami-packed with a slight hint of sweetness, which kept us happily slurping away! For a $10 option (if you stick to the pre-determined toppings), it's a fuss-free meal with generous portions if you have the occasional pasta craving! ⁣ .⁣ 📍 Address (JEM outlet): 50 Jurong Gateway Rd, B1-K14 Jem, Singapore 608549⁣ [HALAL-CERTIFED]

Excellent pasta, one of my favorite pasta places, my go-tos are always their laksa olio or Miso butter or aglio olio, great food, excellent atmosphere and definitely would come back again.

29 Jan 2024 - Ordered miso butter spaggethi. Found it excessively salty, the chicken felt a bit tough... Didn't like it. Should have ordered my usual of dry laksa spaggethi instead.

Emulsified aglio olio! Build your own pasta with protein choices and vegetables at a reasonable price. I think it’s very worth it. Sorry I ate before I took the picture (but still deserve a review cause it’s 👍) soup was real chunky tho, but all is good hehehe yum!

Disappointing pasta meal, tried it after reading all the good reviews. Very very average with overcooked pasta, felt like noodles.
