This Restaurant has an interesting spread as evidenced on the menu. The prices are reasonable too imho. The place gets crowded and so i assume must be popular. The food was just ok. I had requested for very little sugar in my coffee ☕, but still it turned up way too sweet for me to drink. One thing though is the presence of flies which to me should be a strict no-no 👎. They have installed a fly trap which does not seem to be effective. Lastly, now that we return our trays and clear our litter attention must be paid by the restaurant to proper cleaning of tables, sanitising and cleaning of floor etc

WASTE OF MONEY!!! Ordered a "chicken meatball" noodle and was served this. Appearance wise, it looks nothing like the chicken meatball noodle shown in the picture on the menu and looks like fishball noodle. When I checked with the staff, he assured me that it was chicken meatball noodle. When I ate it, the texture was exactly like fishball and there was no hint of chicken either. Checked with the staff again and he told me that is how their chicken meatball noodle is like. Really the WORST "chicken meatball" that I have ever eaten, if you can even call it chicken at all. Even the frozen chicken meatballs from supermarket taste better. Please do not serve poor quality food after increasing your prices.

I really don't understand whenever no food outside sign have been shown on the wall "I understand" but please let us know nicely dear stuff . Do not said " You're malay right?! or anything related to religion, this is not nice. thank you I hope communication and limitations can be better. We are one Singapore remember.

For the food would definitely gives a 5 star rating. Too bad in terms of the attitude of the aunty that prepare the food during dinner time and the amount of curry given during take away is simply pathetic.

I hope people stop patronising this encik tan at waterway point. People are encouraging them to give miniscule portion by continuing buying from them.

Ordered their Curry Chicken Cutlet Set at $5. Chicken Cutlet was smaller than previous orders. Taste was average. Overall, average food at average price and good for a quick meal.

When I ordered fishball noodle there’s no sauce inside only I taste is mee pok …totally not enjoy it …I came here to pay not for free !

The chicken cutlet curry rice set was delicious. However, there's a better curry rice set at Hougang Mall's food court, but if you're taking away then this is more worth it.

Awesome rich laksa! No cockles in laksa but there’s many large slices of yummy fish cakes! The wanton noodles are chewy and well-flavoured just like the mini wok noodles! Will definitely go back again!

It was pass 9pm. Had the fishball noodles. Balls were big but not my preferred taste and texture. Good though.... Halal for Muslim bros and sis by the way

I ordered 2 chicken cutlet + 2 drinks which costed $14.20. On my end, I accidentally took an extra $10 out. Meaning I gave the aunty $24.20. I told her that I have it to her by mistake and she claimed that she didn’t see it and can’t return my $10. I personally feel this is unfair because if she did not see it, it meant that I accidentally gave her the $10. This is disappointing customer service as she assumed that I was trying to scam her. Train your workers to be more diligent in checking the amount first before accepting the cash. Just fire them already or something. Useless workers. How will you compensate me for your workers scamming my $10 and conveniently saying she “didn’t see it”. Come on la it is such a simple task and yet it is the customer’s fault? On top of that your food sucks anyways because the curry sauce has decreased immensely in portion. I’m just a teenager who is trying to enjoy my food and yet I have to face with such inconveniences due to untrained staffs.

Getting from bad to worse..food portion is getting lesser and malay lady cashier speaks bad in malay language to colleague coz i made a small request. She was flirting to one male custome after us.. Not even a thanks for purchasing food. 100% black list this outlet. Horrible experience each time i patronised this outlet. Totally not worth.

Update: I was looking for a place to have a quick meal and decided to try this eatery again. This time, I tried their signature noodles, and it was surprisingly good. No wonder there was always a queue for the noodles. I am upgrading my review from 3 stars to 4 stars.

Take away and inside the curry vegetable is a piece of plastic. Think it is from the plastic that holds the vegetables. Poor hygiene. NEA should conduct some checks on their food handling and area.

Ridiculous portion for $5.00. The server said that this is One chicken chop portion. This has to be the thinnest and smallest chicken "chop". What a joke!

Very annoying. Two seperate checkout counters for seperate foods, despite sharing the same kitchen, you pay then bring your ticket two steps away to the server who prepares your food. Very annoying system, horribly inefficient and outdated.

Always very crowded and occupied during peak hours. Seats are self service, first come first serve. Try to book properly as some people might ignore and sit at your table even if your belongings are there. Take note they have 2 counters - one for noodles and one for curry rice. Ordered 小锅面 & minced meat noodles, the noodles were cooked too soft. The soup in the 小锅 is delicious. Love the hot soup.
