Good value especially with the opening promo for 2 at $19.90 with free choice of 2 sides each, plus free beef slices. Mushrooms were yummy, the dumpling broth may not be for everyone (I liked it though), and beef noodles was decent. To be fair, the freebies added a whole star to the value experienced today 😆

They were running a weekday lunch promo when I visited - 1 main dish & a dumpling soup or beverage for $9.95. Generally, the ala carte main dishes were priced around $8 - $10, depending on add-on noodles or extra toppings, which seems reasonable - not that more expensive compared to food court prices in the CBD. The dishes were prepared in their halal central kitchen, so the taste is quite consistent with their other outlets. There are less choices in terms of noodle thickness - normal, thick vermicelli or mee tai mak. Side dishes offered were also slightly different from other outlets. They had plant-based popcorn chicken, cold tofu century egg, sweet potato spring roll etc. They have dry beef/chicken/veggie dumplings, but not the guo tie or pan fried dumplings.

Not sure why but the waiting time is kinda long during lunch hours. It takes 20mins despite we went after 1pm. Noodle is springy and flavourful. The side dish is a little different from compass one outlet. Hope they can add more side dishes like oyster mushroom and beancurd skin.

Ordered the premium fish soup ($8.85) but I stopped eating it immediately after I drank the soup… There was a very odd fishy taste… probably because the fish was not fresh. Disappointed.

Nothing special - soup is watery and without taste. Noodles are unimpressive and the beef is boring. Bowls are around $8-10 which wasn’t really good value.

Below average beef noodle. Soup is quite salty, about 7 thin slices of beef. Noodle portion is on the smaller side. $9 for a bowl. Unlikely to return
