We went to the one at Bussorah St on 7 May 2022 for dinner. One of the best places that serves halal fusion dishes & desserts!! Presentation was good & value for money. Staff were friendly & made you feel welcome. Service by Elvin was excellent. He's very friendly, jovial & humorous. Thank you for the great dining experience. My family totally fell in love with the food & awesome service. We hope to be back soon.

Had a great first time experience at this resturant! The menu was extensive and the food portion was really generous! Most of us were so full after our mains and the dishes tasted really good. Love the fact that they give free cake slices for take-away. Another great halal option for team gatherings.

The food here is amazing. Their fusion food is one of the best I have tasted in Singapore, which is Halal certified. Their portion is good for 2 to 3 to share, but is a bit on the pricey side. Great selection of Mains and Sides. The have a unique selection of drinks and also desserts. The desserts are to die for. Great ambience and location. The desserts is a must try

Heard all the rave bout this place, finally managed to visit. Didn't disappoint! Food is tasty, lives up to its hype but beware of huge portions! If you're not a big eater do share the mains. Staff were super warm and interactive. It's my daughters birthday along with a few other diners and they switched off the lights in the midst of dinner to dedicate a birthday song! Just wow 😂👍

Thanks Bussorah Team! Made the wrong reservation (today) at Dunlop but they were more than happy to slot us in. We had a very good experience from the service to the food. The food was splendid and delicious and just excellent. Was given a lot of complimentary food including starter and many cakes. A strong and passionate team from the service staff to the cook. Very attentive and super friendly. Keep it up guys!

Food is really good, it’s a fusion of western and Malaysian food. The portions for this specific place is HUGE!! I think one main is enough to share for two. Loved every dish, and the pandan coconut cake was also very good! The oriental duck salad is a must try.

My first time trying out Malayan Council. I am very awed by the taste of the food! Portion are so huge that I think we regretted ordering one main each for 4 of us. The restaurant are also very generous in giving free food. We had free wings, cakes and drinks. I particularly like the part where they offer to sing birthday song together. Atmosphere was definitely great. I will definitely return again.

The food is so good. Staffs are friendly. Served by a newbie who's not so sure about the menu but he tried his best to find out info for the questions we asked. Polite and very attentive. Should have asked his name! Really good and fast service recovery as well. The shop ambience is not that awesome but comfortable seating & music is just nice volume. Recommend for gatherings and family celebrations. Birthday celebrations are a must. You won't be disappointed how generous they are for birthdays 👍

I came here to celebrate my 20th birthday with my friend and I had the best time there. We were given complimentary wings and a cake and even $20 vouchers. It was one pleasant surprise after another. I would also like to thank Rose for her excellent, genuine and kind service that night. She made us feel very welcome. The food was amazing, both the quality and quantity were on point. I’m definitely coming back here again 😊

I came here on 26th August alone without any reservations. The staffs were very welcoming from the moment I take a peek at the menu in front of the outlet. The food is super great. The ambience of the store? Fantastic. A really nice experience and I'm happy to go out with a full stomach and a smile. Tipped $10 for their service. Thanks.

This was my first time to this Resturant. In fact, I came with a big group, more than 20 of us for our department’s team bonding session. I must shout out to the event’s person in charge, her name is Diana, and I call her Dee. Dee has been so prompt in setting up a group chat with me and her staff once I called to enquire. She is so approachable and makes things so easy for me cos she accedes to my requests and is so accommodating even before my lunch confirmation. On the day we met, she made sure all went well, gave us special attention to our needs and requests and serviced us from the beginning to the end. She’s very good, so are the other staffs. Did I mention the potions of the food is so huge too, its value for money, and it’s delicious. Thanks Dee and team for the no hiccups😘

The entire staff is extremely friendly. Those foods are absolutely delectable! I also enjoy the restaurant's atmosphere. The portions are extremely generous. So, from my experience, 1 portion is enough for 2 people. However, because their service is so efficient, you can add on later if you don't have enough. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I might go back on my next trip to Singapore.

We walked in for dinner with no reservations. So glad they could accommodate our party of six in level 2. Food was well presented, came in large portions and tasted great! Service was prompt and it was easy to catch their attention. Interesting how they involve everyone for birthday celebrations. We did so three times in the 2 hours there

This will be my 3rd time organizing a team lunch with Malayan Council - Dee. Dee always replied messages promptly and efficiently unlike other restaurants event teams. The food portion is also huge for $100 per pax, so for big eater, you will never be hungry! Love the ambience of this restaurant, feels really cozy too. Will recommend to everyone! Thumbs up!

great ambience, and staff were super inviting. I love how the guy who served us was always so happy which radiated positive vibes (singing to good songs) and great choice of music btw, had a lovely date with my hubs here :) The food portion were huge!! and we received a complimentary chicken wings too. And to our surprise we received a cake to go. It was really soft and good. We would definitely dine here again! 🫶🏻

We are truly impressed with the food and service. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. They served very generous servings for the main dishes. Thank you for the complimentary side dish, the ondeh² cake for our friend's birthday and the sparkling juice. They gave us a box of another slice of cake to bring home too. Truly generous and their food is very yummy. Highly recommended.

My experiences has always been gr8 with TMC. The food was what I have always been looking forward to. We were served by Rose and she has been very friendly, kind and her service is exceptional from the time we step in till we left esp knowing that its fully packed. Definitely wont forget the amazing bartenders and we loved the charming mistletoe (saw it on tiktok, tried it and loved it!) And of coz, thank you Chefs who have served us all the delicious, delectable, unique flavors of the fusion cuisine. The desserts is the best i have ever had esp the ondeh² classic and me and my family was relunctant of trying the Durian Serawa creme brulee coz we just love durian on its own but shockingly we loved it! The kindest part of all was when i asked Rose if i could stay for another 7 - 10mins to wait for our magrib prayers so that we could do it on the 2nd floor (they have mussollah!) Of coz she needs to ask her manager which i didnt get his name, the malay guy who has a blonde hair. He was kind enough to let us stay awhile. Coz we know they do have other reservation as well but lucky thing it will be another half hr. Thank you sir. Overall, i want to thank Everyone involved - me and my family loved it, love the food, the atmosphere and the services. Thank you TMC. Will definitely come again. Ps: couldnt take more photos cz i was enjoying my food.. 🤭

Great food! Friendly & helpful staff! We really enjoyed our lunch yesterday. They gave us all sorts of complimentary foods, even to take away! My kids got lollipops from them, it made them so happy 🥰 Will definitely repeat & recommend others to try it out!

Food is super delicious. Staff are friendly. We were celebrating a friend birthday. The staff cheerfully sing birthday song along with all the diners. We were given a slice of cake to celebrate the birthday friend. Staff by the name of FARHAN was super awesome. He served us with courteous and cheerfully. Give us another slice of the super delicious durian cake before checkout. An awesome staff make our day. We really had a wonderful day at The Malayan Council Bussorah. Booked the slot on 28 Jan 2024 at 6.45pm under Freda. Awesome staff make the customer happy. Thank you FARHAN and the teams.

A wonderful experience to this place for the first time. Was recommended by my gf, went there to celebrate her birthday. The team was really thoughtful and even gifted us a cake. Their service is amazing cos their staffs were full of smiles and ever ready. Their western menu is nice too, tried their cheese chicken cutlet, soft shell crab and wings too. The portion is huge too! Definitely a place to recommend to your Muslim friends too. It's not Halal certified, but its Muslim owned and popular!

The Malayan Council on Bussorah Street blew me away with its bold flavors and warm hospitality. My taste buds were treated to two mind-blowing dishes: the Asam Pedas Aglio Olio and the Smoked Duck Lemak Chilli Padi. Asam Pedas Aglio Olio was an absolute revelation. The tangy, spicy asam pedas sauce perfectly complemented the garlicky olive oil base, creating a complex and addictive flavor profile. It was a flavor explosion that left me wanting more. The Smoked Duck Lemak Chilli Padi was a close second. The smoky duck paired beautifully with the creamy lemak coconut sauce, and the chilli padi added a nice kick of heat. However, I felt it could have benefited from a slight increase in saltiness to truly elevate the flavor profile. The service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely passionate about the food. They even surprised us with a complimentary portion of their delicious Malayan Wings. The restaurant itself has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed dining experience. We finished our meal with their Ondeh Ondeh cake with ice cream. While the dessert itself was delicious, I found it a bit too sweet for my personal preference. However, the pairing ondeh cake with the cool ice cream was absolutely clever. Overall, the Malayan Council is a fantastic restaurant that offers a unique and delicious take on Malay cuisine. The food is outstanding, the service is impeccable, and the ambiance is cozy and inviting. With a few minor tweaks to the Lemak Chilli Padi and the Ondeh Ondeh (for personal preference), this place would be close to perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Singapore.

The atmosphere is lively and hip. Well air-conditioned. Main-portions are huge and worth the price. We were first treated to a plate of chicken wings. Staff is friendly and helpful. There was a variety of foods and the food came fast. I recommend getting the cheesy kupang.

The portions are rediculously huge!! at this Malayan council just off Arab street. It was tasty and rustic and quite atmospheric with excellent service, I can’t quite believe how many birthdays there was tho, (at least 5 I counted) with each one involving a HB singalong to a backdrop of dimmed lights. Made for a joy eve. In terms of the food quality I felt maybe less is more and would have preferred a bit more complexity and a better cut of meat given the price. Who eats two massive lamb shanks with a loaf of bread and mash potatato ?? Must say Nice touch at end by staff to and is some free cake , just a shame already stuffed ourselves from the desert menu
