Ayam penyet was great, chicken was fried so well it slides off the bone. Beef rendang is also very flavorful, spices well blended and not overpowering at all. Service might be a tad slow during peak hours but the food was worth it👍🏼😊

Food were so-so in this outlet as compared to the regular one I visited in Nex. The Kailan were so "old" and leaves were turning yellowish. The Ayam Penyet (fried chicken) supposingly to be crispy snd juicy, but this one was hard and dry, difficult to chew. Dancing fish was like cooked for a long time but left aside waiting to be ordered and served later, therefore it was tasted cold and no longer crispy on the sides, and fish wasn't fresh. Only Beef Rendang was good, but it was served cold. Overall an average experience tgat i would rate it only 2☆ in this restaurant. We were hungry after waiting 30mins in Q, we still try to finish the food to fill our stomach, but not as tasty as it was supposed to be. Other outlets we visited and ate the same dishes before , so we knows very well how it was tasted supposingly.

The fish is not hot or warm, I think have been cooked in the morning. Chicken is ok but portion is too small I feel. Overall the price is reasonable but foods is so so. Would not strongly recommend if your taste of foods is high.

Pretty nice place to have authentic Indonesian food. Ayam Penyat is their signature, the order comes with free flow of soup refills. Prices are mass market. Service is essentially self-service: you order by scanning a QR code once you are seated at a table, and then walking over to the cashier to pay manually. You need to pay upfront before the meal is prepared.

First time and will be the last time. Not impressed by the food and service level . Lucky plaza got better food standard and service 45 minutes waiting time for food to be serve off peak hour and staff mixed up your orders 🙄. Best advice = Dun come with an empty stomach or dun have time to wait.

Bought a couple of takeaways from this branch. The fried rice and gado-gado. These are the worst Indonesian food I've ever tasted! Doesn't taste like Indonesian cooking at all! The sauce for the gado-gado doesn't look appealing at all. The fried egg that came with the fried rice is atrocious! This will be the first and last purchase from this name.

I ordered chicken satay. The menu had showed that the sauce is separate from the satay however when the food came, the sauce was dumped all over the satay. It looks like someone did number 2 all over my food. And the staff had zero flexibility in making amends. “This one is just the picture.” Best to avoid this place if you want something that is shown in the menu.

You need to place order from your phone using the barcode. Made payment first before food are served. Prompt and friendly service. Nasi goreng was yummy. Portion was quite big. Tahu goreng was superb. Satay were quite thick and tender. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Here for lunch. Scan QR code to place order. Tahiti telur with sweet sauce is one of the recommended dishes. Not too sweet. Chilies are great with the ayam penyat , and I had yellow rice to go along. Beef rendang taste pretty good too Overall, paid $33.xx for 2 pax

Service was quick and efficient, with the waitress ushering us to our seats immediately and a QR code to order and pay. However I expected more from the tauhu telur, I've tried it at other branches and it always impressed but the one I had here was cold and seemed to be precooked. The ayam penyet was decent and beef ball noodle soup was good as well.

Food is good. Dark sauce is too sweet. While we were eating, there was this party of three who came in and started coughing non stop without wearing mask. And the staff who served food walked by them with the food. Not v hygienic. Staff should have advised those people to take note or at least not expose food to their coughs

It consider quite crowded on a weekday for lunch. We have 4 pax but we ordered 3 chicken rice and some side dishes. They have free soup and chill are self served. Order and payment via table scan, super easy and fast. Staff are polite and the restaurant is clean

Ayam penyet president's Nasi Ayam Penyet is one of the best in my opinion. The chilli and sauce is nice and addictive. Definitely will eat again in the future.
