Terrible serving portion of mango salad for take away. Not worth to buy and this was not the fist time it happened. Have informed cashier and staff abt their serving portion and yet no improvement. I would like to request for a refund as they cheated us.

🥘 Food & Taste: Ordered the Basil Beef Rice, Stir-fried Kway Teow with Beef & Kai Lan, Red Tom Yum Seafood Soup, Thai Crispy Spring Roll (4pcs) and Basil Chicken Wing (3pcs). Overall the food is alright. The basil beef rice is pretty average. The stir fried kway teow was good. Surprisingly better than expectations. Red Tom Yum Seafood was abit too sweet for my liking.. Thai crispy spring roll was quite bland and tasteless. Almost feels as though it’s a vegan dish. Basil Chicken Wings were good. Overall, would recommend the kway teow and chicken wings. 📍 Place: The place is actually smaller than it looks. 🤵🏻 Service: Average. We were just brought a bowl a popcorn upon seated without a word from the server/waiter. We had to get our own water. Place our own order via the QR code. Service is not as outstanding as what were mentioned in the other reviews. The staff was in a hurry to clear our table before we were ready to leave. Not sure why. 💰 Price: Average restaurant pricing. I would not call it cheap. There is no lunch promotion during weekday. There was also gst and service charge, for which there wasn’t much service to speak of, especially during off-peak (we were there close to 2pm). 🐣Waiting Time: Reasonable. Time is still needed for food to be prepared.

The food at Sanook is pretty good and they provide complimentary ice water + popcorns. They seemed a little shorthanded so do be patient with them. We over ordered but all the dishes we had were pretty good! The weekday dinner queue got pretty long after 7pm, not sure if it is because it's the June school holidays. On the day we went, the daily set prices weren't too attractive (savings only max $3 or so), so we decided to order ala carte instead.

Fast service even during peak hours. The food is affordable considering they are located inside the mall. I enjoyed both green and thai milk tea. I liked the taste of the spring roll, however, it was quite surprising that the filling was cold while the wrap was hot and crispy. honey chicken was too sweet for me and beef noodle was so-so (got weird smell)

All the food were delicious. Service was fast. Had been eating here for so long. Will come here to eat again. Try the green curry chicken, steam fish and Kai Lan & Mushrooms.

Alright place to dine at. The onion omelette was nice. The honey chicken tasted a bit stale, and the stir-fried kai lan was too salty for my liking. The pineapple prawn fried rice was nice too. The hot lemongrass was comforting.

I've been to several branches of Sanook, and today I tried out the West Mall branch. Perhaps it was because of the rain, and we were slightly early, the place wasn't packed. I have seen people queueing previously. We opted for the set meal for 2, and our food arrived very quickly. The set meal consists of Tom Yum Soup, Fried Sea Bass, and Stir Fried Kai Lan. Both the soup and the fish could have been hotter. It feels like they were prepared beforehand and assembled. The Kai Lan was freshly fried and nice. I think the food quality depends on the branch. I've had better and worse. This one is ok, although there's room for improvement. Still, the food is overall quite decent, and worth a try.

Cute that they serve popcorn the moment you place your order, good for entertaining the kids while waiting for the food. Food is good, I like the green curry, steamed fish, kailan and mango salad.

2 boxes of mango salad for such a miserable portion at the price of $5.90++ really so disappointed becoz I used to buy from Westmall for dinner and previously the portion was much more than the 2 boxes added together for 1 portion. Moreover the preparation of the 2 boxes were so different and one box of the mango so green n unripe. Never recommended to buy from them anymore.

The food is not bad, the flavors are stronger - saltier and sweeter. There’s no Q during off peak, quite quiet but meal times can be quite popular. The basil minced chicken is not bad but a bit gooey compared to other restaurants I’ve had. Maybe different style? The egg can be better done, it was over cooked. The meat sauce was hot but the rice was relatively cold. Thai milk tea was really sweet and to me it does have the unique Thai taste. They even give you some popcorn as “appetizer” which is strangely interesting to be eating popcorn in a Thai restaurant. Maybe they can make it more unique by making Thai flavor such as Tom yum popcorn. Price point during promotion period or sets is alright more reasonable but individually ala carte is more expensive than let’s say food court / zichar but of course this is restaurant, plus service and clean environment, it’s expected higher price. I’ll go again during promotion period.
