This very humble eatery deserves all the praises it gets. It serves the best nostalgic dishes with the freshest ingredients all the way from Myanmar. You can even taste it in the fried onions too! "Little Myanmar" is definitely a place not to be missed and a must try for those who are curious about Myanmar cuisine. Sharing some pics of dishes we brought home and plated it for our friends. Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!

Great, friendly place serving authentic Myanmar Muslim food. The owner has a fantastic personality. Highly recommend their biryani - the chicken is fall-off-the-bone tender, and rice is cooked just right, without feeling oily at all. Other favorites of mine include mohingha (Myanmar national dish; rice noodles in fish soup), and Myanmar style laksa. I dare say these taste like the real deal in Myanmar - much better than the offerings you can get from Peninsula Plaza. Pro tip - order large portions for big eaters (costs slightly more but it's worth it IMO). Their standard portions are a bit on the small side for me. Closed on Mondays.

Had coconut noodle and Mohinga 2 days apart. My Myanmar helper thinks it’s good enough for her. Interesting taste profile, with lots of mung bean in the broth. Friendly stall owner told my helper there is another Myanmar food stall a stone throw away, serving non halal food.

Visited on a couple of occasions. The briyani was delicious though the prices kept increasing on each time I visit. I understand that landlord increases rent but your customers are not there to absorb your operating costs.

Ordered their Special dum biryani. Generous potion with vegetables and soup. Abit different from the Indian biryani. Rice is fragrance and abit moist, chicken meat is tender. They also sell milk tea. And its nice. Give the bowl of coconut noodles a try, its tasty and aromatic. Friendly owner, nice food. Definitely worth trying!

Warm soft tofu with noodles was as warm and comforting as the owner’s smile and personality. Pickle tea salad was very delicious and authentic too. The owner is very enthusiastic about bringing Myanmar’s street food to Singapore. He is very accommodating and gives good recommendations on how to pair his food to have the best experience if you do a take away. Has many vegetarian options as well, just have to let him know when placing your order 😊.

First time having less sweet and strong tea in SG. You may request what taste you like.

Best myanmar food so far I have eaten in singapore.. tasted really authentic and yummy.. tried အုံးနို့ခေါက်ဆွဲ , စမူစာ ပဲရေသုတ်.. and the cooking of regular dishes are also tasty.. although could have more samosas for စမူစာပဲရေသုတ်. Highlight is the gentleman seller who is attentive and friendly which make you feel like you are back in your hometown.. stands apart from other myanmar store in sg.. im staying near another myanmar food store at boonlay and eat often there.. but the taste from here is far superior. .. will come back again.

Would give 10/5 for service if possible. The store owner made it such a pleasant meal, with his extremely friendly and welcoming attitude, treating everyone like his family. Food wise, it's our first time having myanmar cuisine so it's quite an experience. Not sure if it's supposed to be the case but the food will taste better if it's served hot. Will definitely be back!

Been wanting to try out this place for awhile now since I could take a direct bus from SIM. Tried the Shan Noodles (Dry - recommended by owner herself). It was unique! The dry was more saucey, sweet, tangy and pretty spicy. Bits of chicken were in there. It came with a flavourful soup - the kind that you would get in mee soto. I'm excited to try the other dishes like the coconut noodle, and the fried banana (which is not avaliable today).

So happy to have Little Myanmar in this neighbourhood coffee shop. Even more glad that they serve my fave Myanmar dish - warm tofu noodles. Well made and delicious. Service is nice and friendly. $6 for this generous bowl. Mrt: Clementi IG @sporkandbeanz

Had the simple tofu noodle and tea salad. The taste of the tofu noodles was really fragrant and the noodles were very nicely soft.

It was a spontaneous find, and we were pleasantly surprised. Everything we tried was delicious! Service was wonderful. The mutton was soooo tender and the noodle dishes were very tasty. We even tried the other dishes and were later given rice to eat them with. Would definitely bring friends and family over. Highly recommended!

My Burmese co-worker recommended this place to get authentic Myanmar food in the West. Pleasantly surprised by their offerings so far - the price is a bit steep (most items priced starting from $6 per portion) but you get what you pay for, especially since this is an ethnic cuisine that you can't find in most hawker centers. Tried their mutton briyani, lahpet thoke (fermented tea leaves salad), and of course mohinga (noodle soup). The briyani was pretty normal one, it's pretty hard to mess with briyani in Singapore, although the mutton was a bit tough. Mohinga was quite good, savory, warm, and flavorful - very suitable in cool weather as comfort food. Their version used rice vermicelli (bee hoon) instead of thicker noodles. I particularly love the crunchy texture of the crushed peanut crackers put into the soup. The lahpet thoke was absolutely unique dish that is exclusive to Myanmar. The astringent taste of the tea leaves blends very well with the spices and peanut - it's a feast for multiple senses. Just be sure to not to consume it right before sleep due to the caffeine content of the tea leaves!

We tasted their Mutton Briyani ($10). It’s little pricey but worth for the food. And first time tried Mohinga and liked it very much. Mohinga is light soup with less oil and seems more tasty 😋. Next time need to go for tea salad

I remember years ago when I was in Myanmar, we attended a spontaneous local wedding under the invitation of our local guide. We were served this extremely delicious salad, and I made an effort to remember its name because I didn’t want us to be a one off affair. The name of this salad is pickle tea salad. After the trip, I intentionally seek out this salad in Singapore and was delighted to meet it again at Little Myanmar. It was just how I remember it. This year, I was lucky to try it again. And it remains amazing. The unique blend of fermented tea leaves and fried beans makes this an absolute unique flavor that is hard to explain. I also had the Moh Hinga, a flavorful bowl of soupy bee hoon to myself. It was fulfilling and opens up your appetite. This stall is extremely popular with Burmese as you see them in streams making their orders on a Friday evening. Certainly one of the best Burmese places in Singapore.

This small stall serves quite a wide variety of Burmese food. Tried the Moh Hinga, coconut noodle, fried quail and bamboo shoot. All are very delicious. Friendly seller too.
